MARGARET THACHER

WHAT IT TAKE FOR MARGARET THATCHER TO BECOME THE PRIME MINISTER It is a rather big achievement for a woman to become the prime minister. Back these days it was even inadmissible to believe in it. She was the only woman in the Parlament at that time. Her father was a pole model and inspiration for her ever since she was a young girl. When she saw her father giving powerful and confident speeches, it motivated her to become as looked up as her father was as a political figure. What gave her a push into politics was wish to make a change in the world, Not to become someone, but to change something that would matter. She was wise and clever enough to do so.

It can be said that most of these problems exict because there is not enough space for birds. They are kept in huge factory sheds, each containing 15,000-25,000 animals. It also means that individual care is impossible which also leads to the fact that those animals suffer day after day for all their life. In almost every pig farm there were many inadmissible problems. For example, pigs were kept in filthy confined pens, they had scars and injuries. Usually they were bodily harmed because of the lack of space. In every third visited piggery there were dead pigs. Furthermore, carcasses were left among the other pigs. In all the visited chicken farms their habitants were stressed and often had signs of pecking. In many of these farms there were dead hens and the corpses were decayed. It is obvious that

while another equally indignant writer called it a "misguided effort to protect stu- dents from the truth" (Barhaugh, 2008). The term official censorship usually makes us think of bans on political or sex- ually explicit material, yet there is another common sort of official censorship that we don't think of in the same way, probably because it occurs after the fact. Often in a jury trial, a piece of evidence or testimony will be introduced, only to be ruled inadmissible by the presiding judge, who may then admonish the jurors to disre- gard that evidence. From this perspective, the judge may be viewed as a censor, though the form of the censorship is odd. The presentation of the information to the jury is not banned-too late for that-it's the jury's use of the information that is banned. How effective are such instructions from a judge? Is it possible that, for
