As Princess of Wales she was expected to visit hospitals, schools, etc. Diana developed an intense interest in serious illnesses and health- related matters, including AIDS and leprosy. She was one of the first very high profile people to be pictured touching those afflicted with AIDS. This had a significant impact in changing people's opinions and attitudes to the disease. She was very at ease in meeting people from any background and even if they were ill or in hospices. The patients would react very favorably to her meetings. In addition, the Princess was a member of charities and organizations working with the homeless, youth, drug addicts and the elderly. From 1989, she was President of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. DIVORCE In the mid 1980s her marriage fell apart. Tallinn: PhotoTour The Holy Ghost Church The Holy Ghost Church is situated in a strategic location of downtown Tallinn, in the immediate vicinity of the historic seat of the town government the Town Hall at the main square of the medieval town, the Town Hall Square. The order of the Holy Ghost, founded by Pope Innocentius III (1198-1216) and headed by Rome, concentrated in the Catholic World on the establishment of hospitals and poorhouses, known as the Holy Ghost hospices. There were already 180 such establishments in France as early as at the end of the 13th century. One hundred year later, Germany could boast with 130 hospices and their total number was approximately 900. The Tallinn Holy Ghost Church was built as a hospice church beside the Holy Ghost hospice. The hospice operated successfully for centuries, but its activity began to fade after the Lutheran reformation in the 16 th century, partly also due to the construction of the
