become an exchange student. This also includes very much travelling and seeing the land. Unfortunately, it might be a sad travel because of missing their family. From a religious and historical point of view, it can be said that travelling can be really helpful if it comes to gaining knowledge about the history of the country where a person is staying at. But a person must know at least something about the country because there might be totally different traditions and you might get into a disgraceful situation. In my opinion, young people should grab every opportunity to travel because it gives you a paggage of knowledge that you can learn only practically.

"The case for socialism"

until we have built, unwrittingly, a better society. The most fruitful central idea for future is to be found in the main doctrine of the British Labour Party. Author is convinced that the faith of the Party in a moderate and democratic form of Socialism is a natural outcome of our slowly growing faith in human liberty, equality and brotherhood and represents the next step in our social emancipation. The main evil from which we suffer and the main barrier to social progress is the disgraceful inequality in the distribution of income and property that we still tolerate. We can only remove this evil by abolishing property as a main source of income for anyone. To do this, it will be necessary to modify the right of inheritance so that it is only possible to pass comparatively small sums of money or nothing at all from generation to generation. Private monopolistic control will bring into existence a better balanced and a more securely progressive economy.

loyal, through showing violence that triggers pity and this, in turn, triggers loyalty. (Roberts, 1989, p.90) The first to be painted was Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau, who was murdered in 1793. His murderer, a former royal guard, killed Le Peletier because he voted for the death of the king. David kept the painting in his family, who later sold it to Le Peletier's daughter. She found the painting to be disgraceful and destroyed it, with all existing copies and sketches. (Roberts, 1989, p.75, 76) Furthermore, in the context of the Revolution, the painting with a long sword displayed above Le Peletier brings forth the idea of killing the tyrant. With The death of Le Peletier David has the power to control the attitudes towards the death of the king and Le Peletier. (Vaughan,????????????????) By creating a martyr of Le Peletier, people found it

Australia in 1611. The Dutch gave a poor account of Australia considering it to be and arid land inhabited by fierce savages. Abel Tasman was also a Dutch sailor and he discovered Tasmania. Captain James Cook discovered the fertile eastern coast in 1770 and had a more favourable outlook. He explored the coast and named some most important features, such as Botany Bay, for instance. Australia was called Terra Australis Incognita before 1770 and it means `southland'. After the disgraceful loss in the American War of Independence, Britain looked to establish new penal settlements to replace the North Atlantic colonies. The first fleet of 11 ships with 1500 aboard, half of them convicts, arrived at Botany Bay in January 1788. Sydney grew from that first British penal settlement. Transportation of convicts to New South Wales ceased in 1840, but continued to Western Australia in 1868. About 160 000 convicts arrived in over 80 years. The convicts were mostly poor townspeople

"Anna Karenina" kokkuvõte

We see the beginning of the dissipation of arranged "French" marriages and the introduction of English marriages, where young people decide on their own who to marry: "The French fashion-of the parents arranging their children's future-was not accepted; it was condemned. The English fashion of the complete independence of girls was also not accepted, and not possible in Russian society. The Russian fashion of matchmaking by the officer of intermediate persons was for some reason considered disgraceful; it was ridiculed by everyone, and by the princess herself. But how girls were to be married, and how parents were to marry them, no one knew." The princess feels uncomfortable with the change but recognizes that Kitty's marriage has to involve a mixture of parental guidance and free choice. The prince feels that if Kitty marries Vronsky, she might run into the same difficulties Dolly ran into with Stiva, since both men are from the same general background

Transposition may occur within different parts of speech. Adjectives when used as nouns become colloquial (e.g. "Listen, my sweat (noun)", "come on, lovely (noun)"). When abstract nouns begin to function as personal (stand for people) they become emotional (dealing with metonymy) (e.g. "The old oddity." an old odd person; "The little eccentricity." an eccentric child; "He is a disgrace to his family." he is a disgraceful son). Possessive case the suffix apostrophe "`s" may be added to a phrase or sentence and the result is humor or colloquial touch (e.g. "She is the boy I used to go with`s mother." "He is the niece I told you about`s husband."). The ending of the plural may be added to the sentence FGI 1081 Stylistics (I. Ladusseva) 7 with the same effect (e.g. "One I-sorry-for-you is worth twenty souls ...")

It is, in short, impossible for us to conjecture the causes or circumstances which may have alienated them, without actual blame on either side." "Very true, indeed; and now, my dear Jane, what have you got to say on behalf of the interested people who have probably been concerned in the business? Do clear them too, or we shall be obliged to think ill of somebody." "Laugh as much as you choose, but you will not laugh me out of my opinion. My dearest Lizzy, do but consider in what a disgraceful light it places Mr. Darcy, to be treating his father's favourite in such a manner, one whom his father had promised to provide for. It is impossible. No man of common humanity, no man who had any value for his character, could be capable of it. Can his most intimate friends be so excessively deceived in him? Oh! no." "I can much more easily believe Mr. Bingley's being imposed on, than that Mr. Wickham should invent such a history of himself as he gave me last night; names, facts, everything
