The second prototype Pelamis P2 with 180 meters of length (five tubes) and 4
meters in diameter with an overall weight of 1300 tonnes. It has a rated electrical
power output of 750 kW with a target capacity factor is 25 - 40% depending on
the wave climate. Plan is to develop an up to 50 MW wave farm at Far Point on
the north coast of the UK [YePi2012].
