Cats
identified as Cornish Si-Rex or Devon Si-Rex. It exists unofficially or experimentally in a
few breeds e.g. Si-Manx (Manxamese). In the American "Cats Magazine" of June 1965 there
was a photo of two Blue-Point rex-coated kittens born to a blue self (Cornish) Rex in August
1964. Their pedigree showed that four generations back, there had been a Blue Point Siamese
outcross in the breeding program. In addition, one ancestor was an Oregon Rex mutation
owned by Mrs Mildred Stringham of Warrenton, Oregon. A Si-Rex was being developed in
England at the same time, by Mrs
