In 2005, the Ukrainian Levkoy Cat, a fold-eared naked cat, was created using the Don Sphinx
and Scottish Fold. The Ukrainian Levkoy is less extreme in body and face type than the Don
Sphinx (the face is wider and ronder) and the ears do not fold tightly to the skull as in the
Scottish Fold, but stand out from the head and fold closer to the tips. It also occurs in velour
and prick-eared forms.
In 1986 there was a report of a "Hebridean Cat". The owner said that the tiny ears were a
feature of Hebridean and in addition the ears were folded like those of a Scottish Fold. No
more was heard of the Hebridean breed.
