Computers breed laziness and discontent

They do not have to remember how to spell words anymore, the computer does it all for them. What is more, students do not have to go library to do their home tasks. They can just use Internet search engines. For this reason, people`s brains grow lazy. Secondly, people are just sitting behind the computer and watching the screen. They are chatting or doing work but they do not understand that they must take break and do some exercises. In my opinion not exercising can make people stressed and unsatisfied. Finally, we think that is very comfort to communicate with friends and other people via Internet. This kind of communication can lead to unsociability because people are in need of showing they`re emotions. Moreover, some people think that it is more comfortable not to accociate with others at all. To sum up, computers are making our lives too easy. People were created to operate with different kind of activities and if they are spending most of their time

Why do we need morality

Why do we need morality?

So to get what we all want - happiness, peace and security, we must make compromises and obey the laws and moral rules. In general, morality is a form of social control. As long as most of us follow the rules and cooperate, our lives are good. So in other words it is all about the majority - as long as the great number of people accept this, the humankind will be in prosper. Without morality the world would be an unbearable place and people would be miserable, lonely, unsatisfied and afraid. A great novel about morality and its effect is Lord of the Flies by William Golding (1945). This piece of work is a good example of a society without rules are moral values. In this book a group of boys end up on a desert island and they do not obey the rules anymore. At first the boys are happy to be out of the adult world, but soon they face a total chaos. So they create some kind of system that only one may talk at a time and they also choose a leader for

William Shakespeare - Hamlet

Exchange forgiveness with me, noble Hamlet: Mine and my father's death come not upon thee, Nor thine on me. Dies HAMLET Heaven make thee free of it! I follow thee. I am dead, Horatio. Wretched queen, adieu! You that look pale and tremble at this chance, That are but mutes or audience to this act, Had I but time—as this fell sergeant, death, Is strict in his arrest—O, I could tell you— But let it be. Horatio, I am dead; Thou livest; report me and my cause aright To the unsatisfied. HORATIO 199 Never believe it: I am more an antique Roman than a Dane: Here's yet some liquor left. HAMLET As thou'rt a man, Give me the cup: let go; by heaven, I'll have't. O good Horatio, what a wounded name, Things standing thus unknown, shall live behind me! If thou didst ever hold me in thy heart Absent thee from felicity awhile, And in this harsh world draw thy breath in pain, To tell my story. March afar off, and shot within

But Jack immedi ately pulls away, putting Joan's romantic plot line in jeopardy. Perfection through a man was within her grasp, but it's snatched away at the last minute. Jack gives her a farewell kiss and tells her she always had what it takes to be a hero, but ultimately he follows money rather than his heart. Colton goes after the emerald, which has been swallowed by an alligator. H e dives off a high wall, leaving Joan romantically bereaved and unsatisfied. T h e action plot has ended in triumph, but the emotional plot appears to be a tragedy. In effect, Joan's hope of emotional completion is dead. From the shot of Joan looking out over the parapet there is a slow dissolve to a matching shot of her Resurrected self in a N e w York office a few months later. H e r agent is reading Joan's latest manuscript, based on her real-life adventures. It's apparent from every choice on the screen that Joan W i l d e r has changed, that in some

rather impulsive, as if mirroring the anxious spirit of the time. The Estonian musicologist Avo Hirvesoo said: This is boundless, honest music and, let us add, also sincere. Ilves has expressed his way of thinking very explicitly, using adequately straightforward means. It would be difficult to connect the Second Symphony to the philosophical views of the composer. It is a great personal drama, both old and at the same time contemporary. Here are unsatisfied desires, problems of love and psychic balance. During the creative process, the soul passes through purgatory, bringing along single episodes as clearly as is possible to the means of music. The composer has not remained in subjective loneliness; he is sharing his emotions with a wide auditorium. 1 The Third Symphony (1967) was still being remodelled at the time of the composer’s death and thus cannot be commented on.

But there was something more. I pondered, staring, trying to isolate the change. "Bella, what are you staring at?" Jessica intruded, her eyes following my stare. At that precise moment, his eyes flashed over to meet mine. I dropped my head, letting my hair fall to conceal my face. I was sure, though, in the instant our eyes met, that he didn't look harsh or unfriendly as he had the last time I'd seen him. He looked merely curious again, unsatisfied in some way. "Edward Cullen is staring at you," Jessica giggled in my ear. "He doesn't look angry, does he?" I couldn't help asking. "No," she said, sounding confused by my question. "Should he be?" "I don't think he likes me," I confided. I still felt queasy. I put my head down on my arm. "The Cullens don't like anybody... well, they don't notice anybody enough to like them. But he's still staring at you." "Stop looking at him," I hissed. She snickered, but she looked away
