Lühike monoloog "Luck"

Some people seem born lucky. Everything they touch turns to gold. Others are dogged by misfortune. But what is luck- i would define it as the accidental way things happed without being planned. Some people say that they are lucky and others say that they are unlucky. In my opinion is not just people who might be lucky or unlucky- it can be single acts. When someone does not win a card game or misses a shot in basketball then they often think that they are unlucky. People who say that they have bad luck are negative. For example they woun´t even play bingo or take part in raffle. They think that because they are unlucky they can not be lucky. I am sure that if they wait something good will happen their lives. I like to wish people good luck, because i think it is a nice thing to say if someone has an interview or an exam. But people pass exams or interviews because they studied hard or spoke well, not because of luck. People who

Tess - Guilty or not ?

She does not tell anything because her mother asks not do. This leads to Angel leaving Tess after they had just married. So, I think that this was again her mother's fault. All these three misadventures lead to the ultimate mistake that Tess does killing Alec D'Urberville. She kills him because Alec has pushed her so far with the pregnancy and picking on Tess because of Angel. Tess was just a naive young woman who did not know anything about real life. She is not guilty just unlucky and sometimes listened wrong persons' advice. In my opinion the point when one kills another human being is not just an action, there must be more do it than seems. Meg Gabot

Meg's Biography Meg Cabot was born on February 1, 1967, during the Chinese astrological year of the Fire Horse, a notoriously unlucky sign. Fortunately she grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, where few people were aware of the stigma of being a fire horse-at least until Meg became a teenager, when she flunked freshman Algebra twice, then decided to cut her own bangs. After six years as an undergrad at Indiana University (a college to which she was only accepted because her father taught there), Meg moved to New York City (in the middle of a sanitation worker

How I take attending school seriously

First of all I think that when we woun´t go to school for a long periood, it is almost certain that we would be in trouble. If you have been absent for a couple of weeks then it will be very difficult to get all tests and homework done. Firstly you may not know anything about the things that are asked from you. Secondly, some people are sust too lazy to do the tests and because of that students will have very bad marks. If they are unlucky they also must go to school in summer because they have too many things undone. That alone is a really good reason to go to school. Who wants to spend their holiday at school. It would be a torture. Also one reason why I take attending school seriously is because of friends. Cause every child has to go to school there is nothing to do when I miss classes. There isn´t anything to do alone and so it is much better to attend school because then I can be with my

discoveries about the rings. The rings are made of particles that are dust-sized up to large mountain-sized masses, with the average size being in the marble to basketball range - about 10 centimeters (four inches). These particles are extremely cold and are possibly composed of frozen water and other ices. An extensive cloud of hydrogen was also discovered around the rings. The rings might have resulted when a moon or a passing body ventured too close to Saturn. The unlucky object would have been torn apart by great tidal forces on ts surface and in its interior. In , the object may not have been fully formed to begin with anddisintegrated under the influence of Saturn's gravity. A third possibility is thatthe object was shattered by collisions with larger objects orbiting the planet ("Pioneer 10, 11"). Voyager I provided much more detail on the beauty, complexity, and sometimes baffling nature of the rings

with you there. What say you, Mary? For you are a young lady of deep reflection, I know, and read great books and make extracts." Mary wished to say something sensible, but knew not how. "While Mary is adjusting her ideas," he continued, "let us return to Mr. Bingley." "I am sick of Mr. Bingley," cried his wife. "I am sorry to hear that; but why did not you tell me that before? If I had known as much this morning I certainly would not have called on him. It is very unlucky; but as I have actually paid the visit, we cannot escape the acquaintance now." The astonishment of the ladies was just what he wished; that of Mrs. Bennet perhaps surpassing the rest; though, when the first tumult of joy was over, she began to declare that it was what she had expected all the while. "How good it was in you, my dear Mr. Bennet! But I knew I should persuade you at last. I was sure you loved your girls too well to neglect such an acquaintance. Well, how pleased I am
