REPLACEMENT OFTHRUST BEARING
1. Remove the lubricating oil pipes from the chain tightener and the lubricating oil
pipe for the thrust segments.
2. Loosen and remove the nuts from the segment stops, and unscrew the studs.
3. Mount the special lifting attachment in the chain drive and suspend a tackle over
the stopper, which has to be removed.
Remove the stops from the chain drive above the thrust segments.
4. Remove the protective shields for the thrust segments from the chain wheel.
5. For turning-up the thrust segments, mount the tools on the chain wheel.
