Pidgins, creoles and Standard English (English in South-East Asia and the Pacific)
are not promoted through the education system
Pidgins cannot become a standard language
because they are often corrupted by improper
grammar and additions from other languages,
however some creoles can become standardized
Final thoughts
Pidgins and creoles may be simplified, but
they do NOT reflect the intelligence of the
people who speak them
Standard languages may be taught in
schools, but they are NOT linguistically
surperior
Standard languages tend to be used the
least in the speakers’ daily lives
