1,2)Collector characteristic(output characteristics) and input characteristic of Bipolar Junction
Transistor(BJT)
3)A junction transistor has three doped regions. The bottom is the emitter, middle is base and
top is collector.A transistor has two junctions on opposite sides of a thin slaf of semiconductor
crystal:one between the emitter and the base and another between the bas and the collector.
Transistor is similar to two back-to-back connected diodes. For normal operation, the emitter
diode is forward biased and the collector diode is reverse biased.(Reverse biased) (Schematic
symbols of npn&pnp).Three different currents: IE,IB,IC.
5)(Common emitter, Common base, Common collector.)A:Common emitter input signal
