She was very worried about that, because the little old lady told her too, that the way to the city of emeralds is very dangerous, but adventually her decision was to go. In her way there were many adventerous and she met a lion who was shy and wanted to get some braveness, the scarecrow who wanted to be smarter and the Tin woodman who wanted to have a heart to feel different feelings. Dorothy said to all of them that wizard Oz could help them ans so they all went together with her. Finally they reached the city of Emeralds and were very happy when they get meet the wizard Oz, who really was so grat and terrible like everybody had said. But he told that he will do all their wanted things when they will kill the Wicked Witch. First

So she has to follow the yellow brick road to the emerald city to ask the wizard of oz to send het there. On her way she meets many creatures who need something from the wizard too. answered an advertisement in the New Musical Express placed by Ray Williams, then the A&R manager for Liberty Records. At their first meeting, Williams gave Dwight a stack of lyrics written by Bernie Taupin, who had answered the same ad. Dwight wrote music for the lyrics, and then mailed it to Taupin, and thus began a partnership that continues to this day. In 1967, what would become the first Elton John/Bernie Taupin song, "Scarecrow", was recorded; when the two first met, six months later, Dwight was going by the name "Elton John", in homage to Bluesology saxophonist Elton Dean and Long John Baldry. Empty Sky , Elton John's 1969 debut album, went largely unnoticed. The team of John and Taupin joined Dick James's DJM Records as staff songwriters in 1968, and over the next two years wrote material for various artists, like Roger Cook and Lulu. In many stories, such as The Wizard of Oz, these are simply encounters on the road. At this stage on the Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy acquires her companions the Scarecrow, T i n W o o d s m a n and Cowardly Lion, and makes enemies such as an orchard full of grumpy talking trees. She passes a number of Tests such as getting Scarecrow off the nail, oiling the T i n Woodsman, and helping the Cowardly Lion deal with his fear. In Star Wars the Tests continue after the cantina scene. Obi Wan teaches Luke about the Force by making him fight blindfolded. T h e early laser battles with the Imperial fighters are another Test which Luke successfully passes.
