Hot and Dry Deserts usually have very little rainfall and concentrated rainfall in short periods between long rainless periods. Most Hot and Dry Deserts don't have very many plants. Savannas have warm temperature year round. There are two very different seasons in a savanna; a very long dry season(winter) and a very wet season.
