Brighton Brighton is a seaside town on the south coast of England. It is a very popular holiday destination. Brighton was a tiny fishing village. It grew into a town when the railway opened. There were no big houses, shopping centers or hotels, only small fishermen's cottages. Children played in the streets or made sandcastles. People used to swim in the sea or go for walks on the beach.
