Home description
Roof struss consists of principal rafters, ceiling joists and struts made of timber. Those parts are
secured together with steel connector what is pressed into the timber. There are also iron gutters
and drainpipes to run water away.
The main purpose of stairs is to provide floor-to-floor access. Our stairs are made of timber and
there are no handrail, because it is between two walls and there are only six steps. The nosings
are 3 cm high and there are also risers behind every step, made of timber also. All the steps are
varnished.
We can also find secondary elements in every house. So, there are doors, windows and finishing
elements. There are a lot of finishing elements in my house. In the kitchen we have blue
wallpaper what is washable. In livingroom we have painted walls and in bathrooms we have red
tiles on the wall, the joint are made of grey mortar. All the windows are casements type, what
means they are side hung on hinges
