and Samalionis). There are some different ways of completing the theoretical materials
but author prefers practical materials to solve a pragmatic problem.
The empirical part of the thesis includes three units: 1) reasearching Pärnu as a tourism
destination; 2) interviewing the selected segments expert of the resort history and
development, Estonian domestic family tourists and local people; and 3) designing the
concept of Pärnu resort. As a foundation of the research there are some earlier results of
the quantitative researches. But the significant extent of the resort concept is gathered
