A book review
Like not knowing what to do with one's life.
At first it seemed to me that it was just a random part of someones life. While reading the
book I got often bored and couldn't understand what was so special about it and why it is so
famous. After finishing the book my first impressioon was that I didn't like it. But I still could
not get it out of my mind. I started wondering about certain parts like when he told his sister
that he wanted to be, if it was possibe, a somekind of catcher in the rye who catches playing
children to protect them for falling down from a cliff. As the titel of the book is catcher in the
rye the autor certainly wanted to make a significant point. Like many others who have read
the book, I think that by `` saving children from falling `` he wanted to save children from
growing up too fast and loseing their innocence in the process. But actually the one who really
needed saving was himself.
