Harrods is an upmarket department store located in
Brompton Road in Knightsbridge.
Harrods isn`t just a shop,it is a national icon
Harrods founder Charles Henry Harrod started his
business in 1824, aged 25.
In 1883 the store burnt to the ground but in short
order, a new building was built on the same site.
In 16 November 1898 Harrods debuted England´s first
escalator.
