free solution for industrial applications. An electronic drive or starter is an energy converter, which modulates the electrical energy supplied to the motor. Electronic starters are used solely for asynchronous motors. They are a type of voltage controller. Variable speed drives ensure gradual acceleration and deacceleration and enable speed to be matched precisely to operating conditions. Controlled rectifier type variable speed drives are used to supply power to DC motors and frequency inverters are used for AC motors. Historycally, drives for DC motors appeared first. Reliable and cost effective frequency inverters appeared as a result of advances in power electronics and microelectronics. Modern frequency inverters can be used to supply power to standard asynchronous motors with performance levels similiar to those of the bes DC variable speed drives. Some manufacturers even offer asynchronous motors with electronic variable speed drives housed in a custom-made terminal box

circuits).Left:Inverter;Second:Multiplexer;Third:Comparator;Right:Latch. 3)Switching devices. 4)Switching transistor circuits are known as class B operation devices. It means, that the collector current flows only one half of ac.For this to occur, the Q point is located at cutoff on both the dc and ac load lines. Transistors are, because transistorized base bias is usually designed to operate in switching circuits by having either low output voltage or high output voltage.5)on circuits.6)Inverters output voltage is in the opposite polarity to the input voltage.Multiplexer is a multiple switch that steers one of the input signals to the output.Comparator:perfect solution for comparing one voltage with another to see which is larger.Latch:because the collector of T1 drives the base of T2 and vice versa,it is a positive feedback.Achange in current at any point of the loop is amplified and returned to the starting point with the same phase.

However, of the 3,840 possible combinations, only 11 were considered suitable for privacy, and of these only 6 were actually used. They were brought into play in a cycle of 36 steps, each of which remained for 20 seconds, giving the A-3 an overall period of 12 minutes. It began operating betwee the R.C.A. post in San Francisco and the Mutual Tel-phone Company post in Honolulu in December, 1937-and a few days later the Tokyo post, which was still using the old inverters, asked what kind of system was in use on the other leg of the circuit, since they could not understand it. The military took the query as proof that Japan was monitoring the mainland communications. It was the A-3 that brought news of World War II to President Roosevelt, who was awakened early on the morning of September 1, 1939, by a call from the American ambassador in Paris, William C. Bullitt. As the United States was drawn closer and closer to war, the
