Mobbing
· Prey individuals perform stereotyped movements, emit repeated and loud calls which
other prey and recruit them into mobbing aggregation. (nt lindude ohuhüüe)
· Mobbing disables predators and/or causes them to move another area.
· If mobbing is honest, it must be costly. If mobbing a common behaviour, it must be ESS

o conclusion: mobbing should be honest behavious, because it has some costs

o Test of mobbing as reciprocal altruism
o Does breeding birds follow TfT, which shows an initial bias towards cooperation
then copies each of its opponent's moves
o Conclusion: breeding pied flycatchers can play TfT like strategy
