The Van pattern is also found in Persian Longhairs in the form of Van Bi-Colours & Harlequins. These often have additional markings on legs, and one or two small splashes of colour on the body. The Seychellois is an Oriental type cat, occurring in both longhair and shorthair forms, exhibiting varying degrees of the Van pattern:- Seychellois Neuvieme is a white cat with coloured tail and head splashes Seychellois Huitieme is white with coloured tail and head splashes plus additional splashes of colour on the legs Seychellois Septieme has splashes of colour on the legs and body in addition to those on the head and the coloured tail. British cat fancier Pat Turner defined the different levels of white spotting as: Grade 2 - "White Trim"; Grade 3 - "Mitted"; Grade 4 - "Irish"; Grade 5 - "Saddle"; Grade 6 - "Pied";
