Jane Eyre

Jane traveled to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lived with two servants named John and Mary. At Ferndean Jane and Rochester got to together once again. At the end of the story Jane and Rochester married and had their first son. Rochester also regained sight in one eye. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was always interesting and exiting. I think that the most exiting part of the book was, when Jane heard that Rochester had wife, who was greasy and the reason of the fire in Rochester’s room. I liked that it wasn’t just a blame love story, it was pretty different from the others. I also liked the century of the story when there were no phones and texting, when people still had to write to their loved ones.

The Pardoner has long, greasy, yellow hair and is beardless. These characteristics were associated with shiftiness and gender ambiguity in Chaucer's time. The Pardoner also has a gift for singing and preaching whenever he finds himself inside a church. What is the proposition of the innkeeper? The leader of the group, the Host is large, loud, and merry, although he possesses a quick temper. He mediates among the pilgrims and facilitates the flow of the tales. His title of "host" may be a pun, suggesting both an
