grass and laughing. It was a lovely scene; only in one corner of the garden it was
still winter. The giant said, "Now I know why the spring didn´t want to come here.
I will knock down the wall and it will be the children´s playground for ever."
6 D But when the children was him they were so frightened that they all ran
away and the garden became winter again. Only one little boy didn´t see the
giant coming because his eyes were full of tears. The Giant took him genelty in
his hands and pout him up into the tree. The tree burst into blossom and the
birds came and sang on it. The little boy put his arms round the Giant´s neck and
kissed him. When the other children saw that the Giant was not angry any longer,
they came running back, and with them came the spring. "It is your garden now,"
said the Giant. He took a great axe and knocked down the wall.
