The influence of television
TV's published. Almost every home had at least one TV. Television wasn't just for watching
different channels, but also for gaming, like Super Mario, which actually was called ,,TV game"
amongst little children.
Television has the potential to unite communities, provide information to allow positive
cultural, social and environmental change, and to create a true global village. It also has the
potential to alienate, desocialise, to promote aggressive and negative behaviours, provide
negative and inappropriate role models to our children, and to create negative values such as
values of consumption and possession. TV has a big influence amongst younger people, because
sometimes they intend to listen more to strangers than their parents, siblings or teachers.
Television shows very big variety of different newscasts, reality shows and documentaries,
which all can be a big impact of their lives.
