• Palm oil comes from palm fruit. It is rich
in vitamin E and it has a red colour due to
beta-caroten in it. High in saturated fats.
Used mostly in food industry
• Palm kernel oil comes from palm fruit
seed. Also high in saturated fats. Used
mostly in products such as shampoos,
makeup, biofuel etc
