the idleness of their crew, equipment, etc., without thinking of consequences, they realize that work
with one or more prerequisites missing. This generally has an impact opposite to that expected; i.e., an

increase of process time and variability, as well as a decrease in worker motivation due to the fact that
workers must invent work for themselves.
