Abstract summary
In this research the difference between arguementation and usage of demagoguery was
explained. Eight main demagoguery fallacies and their characteristics were analysed,
followed by their usage by three selected politicians in pre-election time period. Pre-election
time period is considered to be from 21.08.2013 to 19.10.2013. Articles that had quotes from
Edgar Savisaar, Eerik-Niiles Kross and Andrus Ansip and were from the pre-election time
period were eligible for analysing.
Three hypotheses of this research were checked for credibility
