Women writer's influence on our society Estonian women writer's history doesn't go far back. The reason for that is that people were slaves back then. Even if there were writers, then most weren't famous and they wrote poems and stories more for themselves. Also being a woman and a writer wasn't considered as a decent job for a woman at that time. The stories that we have from that time were given to one another by talking and mostly we don't know who were the authors. The way I see it, God makes all the rules and you can't really argue with him, because he's God. He can do what he wants, that's just the way it is. In my opinion humans want to feel as powerful as God. It makes us feel better about ourselves, if we can make our own rules from time to time. Let's say, that a musician is writing a song. He makes something out of nothing and he can't help it, he loves the idea of being almighty. Because let's face it, to that song, the writer is God. It is completely up to to the writer to say what's wrong and what's right. He can make up the lyrics and he can compose the melody and noone can tell him, what he should do, or how it should be done. Cinema is the most restricitve medium The topic of this essay is cinema as the most restrictive medium. I would like to discuss the restrictions of cinema as such – what these are, how do they affect the medium. For example time limit of the films, budget, how it affects writer and director, what kind of choices they have to make, and how the audience come into play.
