1. What means vorticity? Derive vorticity transport equation in the plane and in the

1.1 Vorticity is equal to the curl of the flow velocity. Vorticity is the tendency for elements of the fluid to
"spin."
Mathematically, vorticity is a vector field and is defined as the curl of the velocity field.
