My Magna Carta.

I'm sure that I'm not the onl one who thinks like that. The first thing I would do, is forbid bullying. What is bullying? Bullying is the use of force, threat or duress to abuse, terrorize or aggressively dominate others. There are different types of victims. One of those is the one that ignores all the hate and insulting what comes at him/her. The other one takes it all by heart and seriously. Words can hurt, a lot. Most of the people don't realize what are they causing the victim, when bullying him/her. The worse cause that bullying can cause, is suicide. There is 7% of young people who attempt suicide every year. Nearly 30% of students don't go to school, because they don't want to get bullied. Also one of the worse causes is self-harming. Those, who do self-harm, find it releasing. How do I recognize a bullying victim? The victim is often sad, he/she keeps distance from the others, he's/she's anxious, they have conflicts with their classmates, friends or even family

Social, Professional and Ethical Aspects of Information Technology 18.10.2016 The purpose of this paper is to raise awareness about the threats associated with Identity theft. I will talk about the different types of identity theft, the most common way they take place and what consequences they might have. I will also talk about some of the examples and point out actions everyone can take to minimize the chance of becoming a victim of an identity theft. What is Identity theft Identity theft is defined as the deliberate use of someone else's identity, usually as a method to gain a financial advantage or obtain credit and other benefits in the other person's name, and perhaps to the other person's disadvantage or loss. The person whose identity has been assumed may suffer adverse consequences if they are held responsible for the perpetrator's actions.

Capital punishment should-to be abolished
1
doc

Capital punishment should to be abolished

People are either favour or against it. Firstly capital punishment saves money compared to the alternative of life in prison because criminals deserve to die, not stay in jail and live comfortable life. Also when a killer stays in prison he takes up space in already over crowed prisons. Secondly it might prevent the fact that people who have killed someone before, would probably to it again. Because killer`s point of view does not change. Finally it would reassure the people close to the victim it would not happen again. Also it gives them the feeling that the death has been avenged. A family will feel less pain if the killer dies. In my opinion capital punishment should not be abolished, because if someone has committed a major crime such as rape, torture or murder deserves basically the same. I think we should use this policy: an eye for an eye tooth for a tooth.

Already as children people often register themselves in online communities where they can connect with others, upload pictures of themselves and share information about their actions. Unfortunately, places like these are often filled with pedophiles, who usually add their victims through various messengers and start chatting. They show themselves through a web-camera and such, and in return they ask for some pictures of the victim. Sometimes the youngsters are too gullible and they do as told. The consequences might be very extreme. There have been cases where the victims find photos of themselves naked on the Internet. The worst part is that sometimes they can't handle the pressure and commit suicide. Due to the constant improvement of technology there are many hackers online, who create viruses to hack into other people's computers. Often are the users of the web

Wealth does not bring happiness. True or falce?

Money can improve your lifestyle in many ways. It can help you buy fresh food, it can help you get good medical care. Money also allows you to travel and meet new people, new places and new civilizations. It permits you to have a lot of free time to relax, do the things you like and buy all the stuff you like. On the other hand, money makes you greedy and selfish. The more you make the less you spend on charities or donations. You may become a victim of its power! Many people become addicted to luxury. And also, money cannot buy you good relationships, you cannot buy people's feelings, you have to earn them. If you have a lot of money but, have everything you ever wanted but you have bad relationships, you do not feel that you are loved and you are unhappy, then you are just miserable. To sum it up, money can make you feel better, but it cannot buy you love, good relationships

Most bullying takes place in and around school and is often reinforced by an audience. In one study, 120 hours of video surveillance in Toronto schools showed that in over 20 percent of bullying, peers actively reinforced bullying by physically or verbally joining in the aggression. In 54 percent of cases, they reinforced the bully by watching but not joining in. In only 25 percent of cases did peers support the victim. How common is bullying? Toronto's Board of Education has documented that in grades 4 to 8, one child in five was victimized periodically, while one in 12 was bullied weekly or daily. How can you tell if your child is being bullied? Most schoolchildren won't tell you, often because they are afraid of reprisals. But certain symptoms should make you suspicious. These include unexplained reluctance to go to school; fearfulness or unusual anxiety; sleep

It is possible to go almost averywhere and to do almost everything. As the tsunami few months ago proved can total destruction of tourism-industry be quite devastating to victim-country´s economy. The fact that tourism is the main income of a country may one day become a huge problem. Besides that there is also another problem. Sometimes some people just act being a tourist. Their actual intention is to find a job and to stay as an illegal citizen. As we can see from reality there are more pros than cons. Cruelly, the systems usually fade away for several hours or even a day or two, tricking the victim into thinking that they are recovering. When in due course the symptoms return with a vengeance, it may be too late: kidney and liver damage are already well underway. Without treatment, coma and eventual death are almost inevitable. The U.S. Department of State defines "terrorism" to be "premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub- national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience." Terrorism is a criminal act that influences an audience beyond the direct victim. The strategy of terrorists is to commit acts of violence that draws the attention of the local population, the government, and the world to their cause. The terrorists plan their attack to achieve the greatest publicity, choosing targets that symbolize what they oppose. The effectivity of the terrorist act lies not in the act itself, but in the public's or government's reaction to the act. For example, in 1972 at the Munich Olympics, the Black September Organization killed 11 Israelis

However, all the information put on the Internet leaves a trace. It can not be deleted and it can be easily found by anyone who is interested. This can be harmful, as more and more employers are conducting background checks on their future employees. Some foolish jokes and posts about parties may cost people their dreamjobs. What is more, private details put online can lead to identity theft or fraud. Every piece of personal information added to the profiles, are added risks to being the victim of such crimes. Fraudsters can use even a seemingly pointless piece of information to their benefit and for example wipe out your credit card. Fortunately, nowadays social networking sites are constantly improving their security settings and try to avoid such events. To sum up, social networking is an essential part of an increasing amount of people. It is very appealing because people want to connect with their loved ones and also share their own lives

emotion differently. Some cultures get very emotional when they are debating an issue. They yell, they cry, they exhibit their anger, fear, frustration, and other feelings openly. Other cultures try to keep their emotions hidden, exhibiting or sharing only the "rational" or factual aspects of the situation. All of these differences tend to lead to communication problems. If the people involved are not aware of the potential for such problems, they are even more likely to fall victim to them, although it takes more than awareness to overcome these problems and communicate effectively across cultures. In my opinion different cultures are blessing. Different cultures motivate people to learn other languages and the rules of courtesy. Kafka presents numerous images of the artist appearing as Christ such as when the women try to help him out of the cage, he outstretches his arms, appearing as if he is on the cross. We find no solution to the human riddle as a result that Christ was a martyr who die to lessen others' suffering, and this draws no parallels to the martyrdom the artist suffers from: he is a victim of himself and his death provides no appeasement of suffering for others. Why must humans continually suffer?

1) INDIAN ROCK ART: A NATIONAL TREASURE IN DANGER Unrecognized, unprotected, this priceless legacy of primitive art has endured the ravages of nature only to fall victim to wanton destruction by ,,civilized" man. Like the huge stone statues of Easter Island and prehistoric cave paintings of Altamira and Lascaux, North American Indian rock art is surrounded by an atmosphere of mystery. Although examples of rock art exist at some 15000 sites in canyons, deserts, caves and river gorges. Nowadays, however, primitive rock art in the United States has become a new field of scientific study. Klaus F Wellmann wrote two books about rock art

remains the tallest. Trade with Fiji has been criticized due to the country's military dictators Fijians are known for their hospitality and friendliness - although this hasn't always been the case. A little over a century ago, the Fijian people were thought to be ferocious cannibals. Souvenir and craft shops on the islands offer four-pronged wooden forks for sale, reminding tourists of those days. One unfortunate victim of the cannibals was the missionary Thomas Baker, who was eaten with the exception of one of his shoes. Today, the uneaten shoe is on display in the Fiji Museum. # The country was originally one of the most remote British colonies, and there are still some reminders of British colonial rule. Rugby and soccer - those most English of sports - are the two major competitive sports. Cricket and golf are also popular. Fiji hosted the Pacific Games in 2003,

Jacques Louis David ja Prantsuse Revolutsioon

David, a member of the Jacobin club, commemorated his killing with a sincerely mourning painting. (Vaughan, ?????????????) With The death of Marat David expressed both his personal and public emotions and thoughts. For the public Marat was first and foremost a painting about patriotism and courage: "In these "martyr" canvases he portrays the tragedy of the patriot (and later in life David still viewed Marat as such) who, in the midst of carrying out his patriotic duties, falls a victim to the dagger." (Friedlaender, 1952, p.25) Furthermore, Marat was using his bathroom as an office, because he had a severe case of skin disease and taking a bath would relieve his pain. Accordingly, David painted him dead in a bathtub, almost in a Christ like pose. The wound on Marat's right chest can be compared to Jesus's wounds when he was crucified, and therefore Marat seems like a hero dying for a noble cause. Moreover, with depicting Marat as Christ, although David himself and Marat

finely toned body, that is repeatedly described in purple prose. I do not hate ''Twilight'', nor do I disrespect the people who really like the book , I've just grown tired of the hype and cult surrounding the series, and therefore might get somewhat passionate about my list of reasons why ''Twilight'' shouldn't be considered ''th3 bEST book eva written!!!!11'', therefore I admit that, to me, the novel is a victim of bad publicity. At least Stephenie Meyer couldn't complain too much, considering that the all the publicity surrounding the book has brought her an estimated fortune of $125 million. PS! If you were wondering, why I read it for three times, then the third time was only to freshen my memory and put together a list of expressions for the English class. And before I forget: Sandra Silver Tartu Kunstikool

Trouble sparks, they tell me home is where the heart is, dear departed I shed tattooed tears and couldn't sleep good for multiple years, witness peers catch gunshots Nobody cares, seen the politicians ban us They'd rather see us locked in chains, please explain why they can't stand us, is there a way for me to change? Or am I just a victim of things I did to maintain? I need a place to rest my head with the little bit of homeboys that remains, cause all the rest dead Is there a spot for us to roll, if you find it I'll be right behind ya, show me and I'll go How can I be peaceful? The Life of Dante-the Inferno of Dante

The Life of Dante, the Inferno of Dante

Divine Comedy consisting of Inferno, Paradiso, and Purgatorio, among the finest works of all literature. Critics have praised it not only as magnificent poetry, but also for its wisdom and scholarly learning. Dante was a man who lived, who saw political and artistic success, and who was in love. He was also a man who was defeated, who felt danger and the humiliation of exile, and who was no stranger to the cruelty and treachery possible in people. Dante felt he was a victim of a grave injustice. He also suffered serious self-doubts, natural for a man in exile. His works reflect his experiences and attempts to answer some of life's difficult questions. In 1968, Allen Tate, a conservative thinker and a convert to Catholicism, wrote "The Unilateral Imagination; or, I too Dislike it", in his Essays of Four Decades. This critique was established from a lecture given by Tate in 1955 based on his works. An example of Dante's ability to tell so much in one single word

claims that no affair had taken place. After the evidence of President Clinton's encounters with Lewinsky became incontrovertible, she issued a public statement reaffirming her commitment to their marriage, but privately was reported to be furious at him and was unsure if she wanted to stay in the marriage. There was a mix of public reactions to Hillary Clinton after this: some women admired her strength and poise in private matters made public, some sympathised with her as a victim of her husband's insensitive behaviour, others critizised her as being an enabler to her husband's indiscretions, while still others accused her of cynically staying in a failed marriage as a way of keeping or even fostering her own political influence. Presidential campaign of 2008 Clinton had been preparing for a potential candidacy for United States President since at least early 2003. On January 20, 2007, Clinton announced via her web site the formation of a presidential

works similarly or differently in various human cultures. I have also expanded a fea- ture that was stimulated by the responses of prior readers. This feature highlights the experiences of individuals who have read Influence, recognized how one of the principles worked on (or for) them in a particular in- stance, and wrote to me describing the event. Their descriptions, which appear in the "Reader's Reports" in each chapter, illustrate how easily and frequently we can fall victim to the influence process in our everyday lives. There are now twice as many firsthand accounts of how the book's principles apply to business and personal lives. An array of people deserve and have my appreciation for their aid in making In- fluence possible. Several of my academic colleagues read and provided perceptive comments on the entire manuscript in its initial draft form, greatly strengthening the subsequent versions. They are Gus Levine, Doug Kenrick, Art Beaman, and Mark Zanna

Crime Crime, including violent crime, is a serious problem in Jamaica, particularly in Kingston. While the vast majority of crimes occur in impoverished areas, the violence is not confined. The primary criminal concern of a tourist is being a victim of theft. In several cases, armed robberies of Americans have turned violent when the victims resisted handing over valuables. Crime is exacerbated by the fact that police are understaffed and ineffective. Therefore, tourists should take their own precautions and always pay extra attention to their surroundings when traveling, exercise care when walking outside after dark, and should always avoid areas known for high crime rates. As a general rule, valuables should not be left unattended,

Life after Jackass When the hit show ended, each member of the cast found new work in movies and television, each gaining their own degree of success. Knoxville pursued a career as an actor, appearing in such films as the 2004 remake of Walking Tall, The Dukes of Hazzard, Men in Black II, The Ringer, A Dirty Shame and Big Trouble. Margera and the CKY crew were given their own spin-off show Viva La Bam, which follows Margera and his family, who are often made the victim of the clique's practical jokes. Bam and the crew also have Radio Bam on Sirius radio. Margera has also been featured in Bam's Unholy Union, following him and his fiance Missy in the run-up to their wedding, while Brandon DiCamillo and Rake Yohn featured in Blastazoid, a short-lived show about video games. Soolised erinevused karistamise, selle raskusastme määramisel

sotsiaalpoliitiliselt on kõige töö ja andmemahukamad olnud seni Tallinna Ülikooli,Rahvusvaheliste Sotsiaaluuringute Instituudi ja Eesti Vabariigi Sotsiaalministeeriumi poolt läbi viidud monitooringud. Mis puutub meie uuringuspetsiifilisse eripärasse, siis sarnase konkreetse valdkonnaga seotud uuringu leidsime Krist Maanase 2004 aasta töös ` Estonian Peoples Attitudes Towards Punishment, based on the Estonian Crime Victim Survey 2004` töös.
