In 1788 the First Fleet with eleven ships, with 1500 people on board were sent to Australia with Captain Phillip. They landed in Port Jackson on January 26th in 1788 and that day is now called Australia Day. It is the biggest day of celebration in the country and in observed as a public holiday in all the states and territories of Australia. During the 1850s, settlement was boosted by gold rushes. Gold was first found at Bayhurst in 1851. The idea of unifying all the states first came to Earl Grey in 1847. On the 1st of January, in1901, Australian colonies federated to become the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia had declared independence from the federation of UK colonies. result of pioneering the Age of Discovery, Portugal expanded western influence and established the first global empire, becoming one of the world's major economic, political and military powers. In addition, the Portuguese Empire was the longest-lived of the modern European colonial empires, spanning almost 600 years, from the capture of Ceuta in 1415 to the handover of Macau in 1999 and grant of sovereignty to East Timor in 2002. The empire spread throughout a vast number of territories that are now part of 53 different sovereign states. However, the country's international status was greatly reduced during the 19th century, especially following the Independence of Brazil, its largest colony. After the 1910 revolution deposed the monarchy, the democratic but unstable Portuguese First Republic was established, itself being superseded by the "Estado Novo" authoritarian regime. Democracy was restored after the Portuguese Colonia l War and the Carnation Revolution in 1974.

Canada´s history

was Quebec. New France was generally the name given to the french colonies of Canada and Acadia. British settlements appeared along the Atlantic coast. As the colonies grew, a struggle for control over North America started between England and France. For almost a century Canada was caught up in the struggle for power, until in 1763 England finally gained control over almost all of Canada. Gradually the British started to move westward and new provinces and territories appeared. During this settlement process the native Canadians were treated with more respect than the natives of the USA. Canada's real birthdate is July 1, 1867 when the British created the Dominion of Canada under British rule. In 1931 Canada peacefully broke away from direct British rule. In 1965 a new flag with a red maple leaf on a white background was adopted. The name Canada is believed to come from the Huron-Iroquois word Kanata, which means "village" or "settlement"

Mangrove forest

Many mangrove forests can be recognized by their dense tangle of prop roots that make the trees appear to be standing on stilts above the water. This tangle of roots allows the trees to handle the daily rise and fall of tides, which means that most mangroves get flooded at least twice per day. The roots also slow the movement of tidal waters, causing sediments to settle out of the water and build up the muddy bottom. KAARDIGA SLAID Mangroves can be found in over 118 countries and territories in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The largest percentage of mangroves is found between 5° (degrees hääldad seda kraadi märki) North and 5° South latitudes.[20] Approximately 75% of world's mangroves are found in just 15 countries. Asia has the largest amount (42%) of the world's mangroves, followed by Africa (21%), North/Central America (15%), Oceania (12%) and South America (11%).

If the line is crossed and nothing else is done all day long, then they will ruin their health and their education will be damaged too. There are so many interesting things that can be found out from books, starting on how to behave and ending with the culture, tradition, customs of other countries. Books are the eyes that allow you to travel all over the world, to conquest the territories of the unknown. To sum up, the best advice I could give to people would be to partially give up the Internet and take up a new hobby, like reading a book, which will never fail them and will always give a helping hand when it is needed.

He himself did not acknowledge having multiple wives publicly since it was illegal. After Joseph Smith's murder by a mob on June 27, 1844, the main body of Mormons followed Brigham Young to Utah where the practice of plural marriage continued. Polygamy was illegal in all US territories. Very harsh anti- polygamy legislation in the US led some Mormons to emigrate to Canada and Mexico. Today, the practice of plural marriage continues among tens of thousands of Mormon
