percent of Madagascar's 14,883 plant species are found
nowhere else in the world, including five plant families.
The island is home to around 170 palm species, three
times as many as on all of mainland Africa.
Madagascar`s offical languages are Malangasy and
French.It`s population was on 2012 22 million
people.It`s president is Hery Rajaonarimampianina and
prime minister Jean Ravelonarivo.Madagascar´s athem
is called Ry Tanindraza nay malala ô(Oh, Beloved Land
of our Ancestors).
