currently incorporates several natural language processing (NLP) capabilities to support automated generation suggested text modifications for classroom texts. Tool suggestions are similar to the kinds of adaptations that teachers might implement for English language learners in their content-area classes. Text Adaptor allows users to import a text or web page, and subsequently, to generate the following types of adaptations of the imported text: English and Spanish text summaries, vocabulary support, including synonym (Lin, 1998), antonym, and Spanish/English cognate identification. Text Adaptor also identifies complex phrasal and sentence structures, and academic vocabulary, fixed phrases (for example, phrasal verbs and collocations), and cultural references. Teachers can then modify the text accordingly, given the learning needs of the ELL students in their classrooms. NLP capabilities used to generate these adaptations include, automatic summarization (Marcu,

The questionnaire was answered by 25 students, 17 of them were female and 8 male. Student's age was 17-18 years old. The questionnaire was answered anonymously, in the Internet. From the student answers, we found out that in the 11. grade there is a small amount of people, who never read the summaries of the books. Most of the students fairly read them, but there is still a lot of those, who always read the summary. The questionnaire revealed, that many students think that there is too much reading material, because the books are too substantial or there is too little time to read them. Also we found out how the teacher covers the subjects of matter given in the book. 6 students told, that teacher covers the subjects thoroughly, 15 students said that it was quite thoroughly, 2 answers

different countries. The status of hunters in various countries, different hunting organizations, and the history and current situation of game management in Estonia are discussed. Hunters' relationships with landowners and other stakeholders (animal rights activists) are examined as contributing factors. The methodology of the research consists in studying internet sources and literature (hunting magazines, books, articles), and writing their synopses and summaries. The source of data used in the research that has been discussed in the thesis is the supervisor, senior lecturer Tiit Randveer. It was concluded that the greater the continuity of a country's hunting traditions, the more favourable the general attitude towards hunters. By raising the awareness, also people's attitudes towards hunting organizations and their members change. In countries with historically strong hunting traditions the general opinion of hunters is more positive.

recommendations, and conclusions. Although they are dramatized and corrobo- rated through such devices as interviews, quotes, and systematic personal observa- tions, the conclusions of Influence are based on controlled, psychological research. This fact allows the reader to feel confident that the book is not "pop" psychology but represents work that is scientifically grounded. The subsequent versions also provide new and updated material, chapter summaries, and study questions to en- hance its utility. A potentially attractive feature of the present version of Influence lies in its abil- ity to serve as an enjoyable, practical, yet scientifically documented offering. In a re- lated vein, the book might be seen as a way to demonstrate that, properly presented, what often seems like dry science can actually prove to be lively, useful, and relevant to all readers' personal lives. Comment on the Fifth Edition of Influence:
Kramer and Colonel Rufus S. Bratton, army G-2 Far Eastern Section chief, winnowed the wheat from this chaff. Reading the entire output, they chose an average of 25 messages a day for distribution. At first Kramer supplemented his translations with gists for recipients too busy to read every word of the actual intercepts, starring the important ones, but he abandoned these in mid-November under the pressure of getting out the basic material. Bratton, who had been delivering summaries of MAGIC in the form of Intelligence Bulletins, began on August 5 to distribute MAGIC verbatim at Marshall's orders. This, however, had the effect of increasing the volume. Marshall complained that to absorb every word of it he would have had to "retire as Chief of Staff and read every day." To save the recipients' time, Bratton checked the important messages on a list in the folder with a red pencil; Kramer slid paper clips onto them
