Ott Sepp stand-up retsensioon

Suur rõõm väikestest asjadest 8. detsembril külastasin Paide kultuurikeskust, et näha Ott Sepa stand-up etendust. Näitleja on selle monoetenduse ise kirjutanud ning esitas seda ise laval ka. Kuulutusi jälgisin juba oktoobris, kuid Kuressaare Linnateatri etendused magasin maha. Kuulutus sundis internetist natuke rohkem etenduse kohta uurima, kuid iseloomustus etenduse osas lausa sundis vaatama minema. Ott Sepp on noor Eesti näitleja. Ta on sündinud 29. juunil 1982 ja on Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia lavakunstikooli 21. lennu vilistlane

Stand-up kontsert OMA JÕUL

Teatriretsensioon Stand-up kontsert OMA JÕUL ,,Oma jõul"- alustas Jan Uuspõld oma stand-up kontsertit, 19.detsembril Kuressaare Kultuurikeskuses. Hea muusika ja hea nali on kaks kõige toredamat asja, mida üks õhtu pakkuda saab. Nüüd said need mõlemad kokku ühte stand-up kontserdisse OMA JÕUL ja pealegi veel suurepärase muusikalise trio esituses, mille solistina säras Eesti monoteatri grand old man Jan Uuspõld. Trio koosseisus Jan Uuspõld, Mairo Marjamaa ja Rene Puura ei ole tavapärane ansambel lauljast, saksofonistist ja klahvpillimängijast, vaid fantastiline kolmik, kes päästab teid talvepimedusest parima muusikalise huumoriga. Täiesti uutmoodi stand-up kontsert pakub

Retsensioon Stand-up kontserdist "Oma Jõul"

Otepääl oli selleks Mariah Carey ,,All I want for Christmas is you", mida trio esitas ka Ringvaates kontserti tutvustava palana. 12. klass

You must be the change you wish to see in the world-

rtf

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

12.d “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” (Mahatma Gandhi) Mahatma Ghandi expresses that everything starts with us, our willingness to help create the world we dream of. It is unlikely that any of us will be the next Mother Teresa but every person has hidden power to do something that benefits to the society. People´s roles are nowadays as important as the next persons, even if they think that little things are insignificant and have no effect, with enough people these small things add up and make an even bigger change that any single organization or person could ever do. To be the change we want to see in the world, people do not have to be smart, rich or well educated. They need to have a dream and commitment. The problems facing the world today are great, and it will surely take the greatness of millions if not b...

MARGARET THACHER

WHAT IT TAKE FOR MARGARET THATCHER TO BECOME THE PRIME MINISTER It is a rather big achievement for a woman to become the prime minister. Back these days it was even inadmissible to believe in it. She was the only woman in the Parlament at that time. Her father was a pole model and inspiration for her ever since she was a young girl. When she saw her father giving powerful and confident speeches, it motivated her to become as looked up as her father was as a political figure. What gave her a push into politics was wish to make a change in the world, Not to become someone, but to change something that would matter. She was wise and clever enough to do so. What drove her most was her remarkably strong will to stand for her beliefs, disregarding what others said or believed to be better. She strongly believed in her decisions and never backed downs on a decision what she had made. Her terrible stubbornness is probably why she was such a s...

Aspects are only used in the past and future tense. When you are talking in the present tense, you can ignore aspects all together. The aspects are: Imperfective - Incomplete, ongoing, habitual, reversed or repeated actions Perfective - Actions completed successfully. The perfective aspect is not created by changing the ending. There are normally two words for each verb. One is the imperfective, the other is the perfective. Often these two words are closely related, but this is not always the case. (Often the perfective is simply prefixed with “По”). ) Жить, Прожить – live Любить, Полюбить – love Делать, Сделать - do, make Говорить, Сказать - talk, speak, say. Работать, Поработать - work Aspects in the negative Using the negative with perfective verbs indicates the person failed to do that action. Using the imperfective will normally simply mean that it didn’t happen. Я не позвонила - I failed to phone (perfective) (but I was expecte...

People always loved creating things themselves

People always loved creating things themselves because it gives more pleasure than just buying a ready piece of goods at the shop. When a lot of down-to-earth lifehacks appeal to me, like this one with quick egg shell pealing, for which you only need to shake an boiled egg in a glass jar with water. But sometimes those life hack and diy videos get to far and stop being useful. Whether they are too stupid or too complicated to recreate requiring lots of materials they become unuseful. So let me show you some examples of extremely viral «lifehacks» your first mpression of which would probably be «who's idea it even was?» The first one: tired of cleaning up the dishes just cover your plate with food film. Next one suddenly need to make a stand for a phone use some clothes clips and a line. Jeanette met Melanie at a fish stand. At first Melanie was reluctant to start a conversation with Jeanette, but eventually she caved in. Week after week Melanie worked at a fish stand boning kippers on a big marble slab and Jeanette went to watch her. Then, one week Jeanette didn't find her because Melanie had got a job in the library. She had to work there every Saturday morning. Melanie lived with her mother who often wasn't home. Dear Sir, I am writing to complain about the Beautiful China Figure I ordered from your company. I believe your advertisement was misleading in a number of ways. Firstly, it was said to be delivered within ten days but when I received the package, three weeks had already passed. Also, my friend's birthday had passed, it was supposed to be a gift for him. I had to buy a new gift for him and now I do not have anything to do with this figure. Secondly, the figure was cracked and it did not look like the one on the advertisement. The engraved message I chose was also wrong and misspelled. The plaque surface where the message was engraved was scratched and silver but it should have been golden, like it was written in the advertisement. Thirdly, it was mentioned that each figure comes on a wooden stand but mine was on a plastic stand and I noticed some trace of glue, this seemed quite careless. Furthermore, it was wrapped up very carelessly a...

Should a man be a househusband

Should a man be a househusband? Should a man be a househusband? It is a pretty popular subject nowadays. The phenomenon of strong women is more and more urgent, whereas more and more men stay at home as househusbands. This phenomenon causes many people to wonder whether this is a positive change. If this is true, can it be done without having a negative effect on the family? In my opinion, a man should earn money for his family, but taking care of the house and kids should be women's chores, because every child needs mother's care and attention. Otherwise lack of it may be seen in the future and father cannot replace mother. Furthermore, men are not going to stand still and watch it uselessly. Most of them think of themselves as the family heads and they have an obsession about being the successful ones. But behind every successful man there is a woman, and it is a boost for men's ego, because they ha...

I will never forget the day

I will never fotget the day... I will never forget the day when i was in the country, at my grandmother's, i was listening to the sounds of nature. Everything was quiet, as if everything was standing still. There was a gentle breeze, and the sough in the branches made the morning almost perfect. You could hear birds from further away. I was alone. I had time to enjoy the moment. I was restless and couldn't stand still, so i got up and went to do my usual affairs. To this day i still think and wish i could sit outside early in the morning and listen to the nature. Time has passed by so much, that now i spend much of my free time at the computer, and do not fall asleep until 3 in the morning, and so i do not have the time to go outside in the early mornings. Life has a habit of presenting us with obstacles which are not easy to surpass. Also, we end up in situations where we feel rage, anger, sadness and other feelings. Yet we remember t...

Global warming

Global warming means that the temperature keeps going higher. The world is now warmer than at any time since the last Ice Age. The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. One reason why the global warming is happening is that the population is growing and we need to do more work so everyone can feel themselves comfortable. They have enough to eat, new clothes, warm house and so on. Some areas become uninhabitable so people have to move around and maybe even fight for something. For example for clean water. People so far have acted careless and not thinking ahead too far in the future. There have been few who have tried to stand out and make others understand what they should do. They have showed what has happened so far and what will happen if no action is taken under consideration. Global warming and our part in it is a serious problem...

The Globe Theatre

Globe Theater The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. He wrote there many of his greatest plays. It was first built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, and was destroyed by fire on 29 June 1613. It was rebuilt in June 1614 and closed in 1642. It stood on the bank of the River Thames in Southwark, London, England, UK. In 1987, though, after many years of careful research, work began to build a new theatre as much like the original as possible. The New Globe was built with the same materials and building methods as the Shakespeare´s theatre. It is a round building, 3 storeys high, with a wooden frame and plaster walls. The middle of the theatre is open to the sky. The New Globe opened in 1997. It was named "Shakespeare's Globe and it is used from April to October for performances of plays both by Shakespeare and other playwrights of h...

Motivatsiooni kirjand

Always keep moving fowards no matter what happens in life! There is never such thing as “I can’t move on, I am hurt, I am feeling depressed”, there just isn’t. Motivation isn’t something what just comes by a random chance. It is something what needs to be understood and observed with feelings and emotions. Motivation comes from the past incidents what I have had and have been through with. I know what I have been thorugh with and how hard the times can get in life but then I can’t just give up my life, I can’t surrender my body to drugs or alcohol in order to forget or ignore the problems. I have to have another view to life. A view that is full of positive energy, good vibes, happy feelings and fantastic emotions. But in order to get the feelings what I want, I need to start moving my ass around the world. I need to see that there are more things than just problems. when I finally have seen that there can be a life to enjoy then I star...

The family who turned back the clock.

The family who turned back the clock. When Malcolm Jones woke up last Monday, he heard the birds singing. Not remarkable, you might think, especially given that he lives near a forest. But birdsong in the Jones household is usually drowned by a tidal wave of electronic music crashing around the house as soon as his four children wake up. This is a family who have chosen to fill their home with every conceivable gadget. They have nine television sets, including one in each bedroom and in the kitchen. All the children have their own personal computers and CD players. Of course, there are all the usual appliances we all take for granted, such as the washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, deep freeze, microwave oven, and video recorder, but they also have an electric trouser press, two power showers, an Olympic-sized spa bath and jacuzzi, three cars, and a music system which plays throughout the whole house. ...

Structural loads

Kristiina Stõkova 105281, EAEI-33 Structural loads As everyone might know that great architecture is the successful marriage of art and technology and a structure is an artifact expressing one of the many aspects of human creativity, however it is an artifact that cannot be created without a deep respect for the laws of nature. And that is the main problem brought out by the author of the book ,,Why buildings stand up", Mario Salvadori. So why should an engineer consider different loads? the answer is simple - if the earth did not pull, the wind did not blow, the earth's surface did not shake or sink and the air temperature did not change, then loads would not exist and structure would be unnecessary. This would be so-called the Alice-in- Wonderland world of architecture. But in the real world the engineer's first job is to determine which loads will act on a structure and how strong t...

Ideal marriage

Ideal marriage By definition, marriage is a union, a legal joining of two people. However the term 'ideal marriage' is a much more complex phrase to understand. This is due to the variety of couples and views on life. Fortunately, there are some basic traits that all succesful wedlocks have in common. In order for a marriage to work, it needs to have the full attention of both participants. Both man and woman need to respect each other, including their duties, rights and responsibilities towards one another. In my opinion, a perfect marriage has to be a partnership. Both husband and wife need to be able to speak their minds without feeling judged or worse, ignored. Furthermore, one of the most important aspects to happy marriages is the couples ability to stand together and plan their future. It is especially vital for newlyweds to have clear plans for their upcoming life toget...

Shopping in my life

Shopping in my life I like shopping with my friends. I buy clothes once a month with my friends, usually on Saturdays. Sometimes I shop with some member of my family for example with my mother. My mum can give me some good advises. When I buy new clothes, I look for quality clothes, which last longer. My tastes aren't very expensive and I'm not exactly into brand names. I usually buy clothes in Terranova. I spend quite a lot, but I always think carefully before I buy something because my family doesn't have much money to waste. I always go to the sales. When I need some money, I ask my dad or mum and they give me some. I don't have my own credit card but my dad has one. I love fashion clothes. I like jeans, sweat shirts and tops. I wear them every day at school and my favourite colours are pink and purple. I enjoy buying clothes very much. I always have fun shopping experience. Usually I spend a very ...

People who does not have their own life

People who does not have their own life I think everyone in their life has things that annoy them. So have I and I have lots of stuff that annoy me, maybe too much. In this essay it would be impossible to describe all of them, so I will try to explain the most irritating thing. I really can't stand people who stuff their noses into other people's things. For example when two people are talking privately and then the one interrupts them and asks: "What?", "When?", "Who?","Why?". If its done once, nobody cares but when someone all the time and everywhere needs to know what others are talking about well it's kind of annoying. And then there are these kind of people who smoothly move from one group of people to another group of people and collect any kind of information like bees collect pollen so afterwards they could tell everything they heard to their friends and to add some spice ...
