Mõtteharjutus „Millest võiksin kirjutada oma lõputöö?“

nende suhtes kohati subjektiivne. Seetõttu kavatsen tugevasti toetuda faktidele ja püüan teadlikult iga mõtte selgelt ära argumenteerida. See teema paelub mind end just nimelt seepärast, et olen justnimelt mõlema organisatsiooniga seotud. YFU Eesti puhul tuli initsiatiiv programmiga liituda pigem minu poolt, seetõttu on mul sellega seotud pigem positiivsed mälestused

The Order divided the stronghold into two parts: castrum maius or the Great Castle, and castrum minus or the Small Castle. The Great Castle was located in the place where the Dome Church stands today and it became an episcopal centre. The Small Castle stood in the same place as today’s castle and became the centre of secular power. Immediately after the conquest the Order started to fortify the hill. The first castle- type stone fortess (the Small Castle) was built in the southwestern corner of the hill in 1227-1229, perfectly protected by deep moats and towers. You can see one of them on the south-west corner of the castle -it´s Pikk Hermann – quite a slender (considering the average thickness of the walls – 2,9 m) 49-metre watch-tower from the year 1371. The tower consists of ten internal floors and a viewing platform at the top with a 215-step staircase leading to it. This is because of the Finns` ancestry: the people who moved into the southwestern corner of today`s Finland from Estonia via the Baltic are referred to as `trans-Ural nomadic`. Three tribes settled in different areas; the Suomalaiset (the Finns` word for themselves) decided to remain in the southern coastal provinces, and quikly altered their nomadic lifestyle; the Häme lääni settled the lake region, and the Karelians settled the forest regions to the east. Sunflower History Around the world, the sunflower is the only crop harvested for seed that was domesticated in the United States. Sunflower was a common crop among Native American tribes throughout North America. Evidence suggests that Native Americans were cultivating sunflowers in the Four Corners area of the southwestern United States about 3,000 B.C. Sunflower seeds were ground or pounded into flour, cracked and eaten as snacks, mixed with other vegetables, or even squeezed for oil which was used in making bread. Nonfood uses included purple dye, medical uses, and using the dried stalk as a building material. The plant and the seeds were widely used in ceremonies.
