Petersburg in Russia. The first railway line to be built in Estonia was the Paldiski Tallinn Narva Gatchina line constructed in 1870; Baltic German nobility provided the impetus for the construction of the line, though because of the Russian influence the line was built to 1524mm gauge to connect with the line from St. Petersburg to Warsaw . The construction project was controlled by the Russian Ministry of Roads. The port of Paldiski was chosen because its southerly position made it ice free all the year round. Soon after both Paldiski and Tallinn experienced an upswing in trade, notably exports of grain. In 1877 another line was complete, connecting Tapa and Tartu; later extended to Valga in 1887, which brought a connection to Latvia via the Pskov Valga Riga line also being constructed at the same time.Additionally a network of narrow gauge railways (750mm) were being built in Estonia,
The highest North Island mountain is Mount Ruapehu and it is an active cone volcano. There are also two other volcanoes in the centre of the North Island. Cook Strait, 20 kilometers wide at its narrowest point, separates the North and South Islands. The climate throughout the country is mild and temperate, mainly maritime, with temperatures rarely falling below 0 'C or rising above 30 'C in populated areas. its isolation from continental (influences and exposure to cold southerly winds and ocean currents) give(s) the climate a much milder character. In winter the South Island mountains and central North Island have heavy snowfalls. New Zealand has about 4,3 million people. The population is unevenly distributed. Three fourths of New Zealanders live on warmer North Island and about 84 per cent of the people live in urban areas and about half of these in the four largest cities. GUILDENSTERN There are the players. HAMLET Gentlemen, you are welcome to Elsinore. Your hands, come then: the appurtenance of welcome is fashion and ceremony: let me comply with you in this garb, lest my extent to the players, which, I tell you, must show fairly outward, should more appear like entertainment than yours. You are welcome: but my uncle-father and aunt-mother are deceived. GUILDENSTERN In what, my dear lord? HAMLET I am but mad north-north-west: when the wind is southerly I know a hawk from a handsaw. Enter POLONIUS LORD POLONIUS Well be with you, gentlemen! 73 HAMLET Hark you, Guildenstern; and you too: at each ear a hearer: that great baby you see there is not yet out of his swaddling-clouts. headed toward downtown. I wasn't paying as much attention as I should to where I was going; I was wrestling with despair. I was trying so hard not to think about him, and what Angela had said... and more than anything trying to beat down my hopes for Saturday, fearing a disappointment more painful than the rest, when I looked up to see someone's silver Volvo parked along the street and it all came crashing down on me. Stupid, unreliable vampire, I thought to myself. I stomped along in a southerly direction, toward some glass-fronted shops that looked promising. But when I got to them, they were just a repair shop and a vacant space. I still had too much time to go looking for Jess and Angela yet, and I definitely needed to get my mood in hand before I met back up with them. I ran my fingers through my hair a couple of times and took some deep breaths before I continued around the corner. I started to realize, as I crossed another road, that I was going the wrong direction
