ESTONIA VS AUSTRALIA Today, I shall compare the Baltic country, Estonia, and the largest country in Oceania, Australia. Largely they are going to be very different but still sharing little similarities. This essay will go in- depth about what makes these two nations so different. First I'm going to write about Estonia, a country within Europe. Estonia is quite small when compared to the other its neighbours with a land of 45.227 square kilometres and a population estimated at 1.3 million. For me another helpful nuance in learning English were Hollywood movies and Cartoon Networks Channel. I learned the first basic words and sentences from the cartoons. In everyday life I use English almost every day. I read news in English, surf in the English webpages and communicate with some of my friends in English. Sometimes during a day i use more english language than estonian. Another language that I have learned in school is Russian. I started with it in the sixth grade. Some people say that Russian is Estonian second official language because you can hear russian in every part of estonia. Owing to the fact that I have studied Russian six years in school and I have had quite a lot of practise too, I still could not speak it very well. In Pärnu i trained in gym whrere most of the people were russians so i had some practice but still i am not very good at speaking russian. I have to admit that i do not like russian. Ido not know why
highschool. Currently I live in Nõo, where I am studying in 10 grade. I come from Ranna, compared to Nõo, Ranna is a very small place approximately 1,000 inhabitants. I come from a family of 5: My parents, Pille and Raigo, my mother is self-employed and runs a small tourist lodge in Ranna, my father is Head teacher in Alatskivi high school. I have one sister and one brother. My sister Aurelia, is 3 years old and is going to kinder garden. My brother Rasmus is 12 years old, and is in sixth grade in Pala primary school. After finishing highschool I plan to go to Estonian Aviation Academy, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting.
