the beginning, its mood is somewhat “objective”:

to an Estonian folk dance, perhaps the best in the work:

The last, fourth movement (Alla sincerona) is based on one Dorian theme in
vocal style.
The Sinfonia sincera is chamber-like, the form is, in general terms, fragmentary.
Kangro is a builder placing one “block” beside the other but not upon it, there are no
counterpoint lines in his music. The finale remains undeveloped: the ideas are episodic.
The first movement is the most presentable. Developments are planned and exhibited as
