Ristna Sea Store Ristna Sea Store (in Estonian called Mere Kaubamaja) is an exhibition which was founded in 2009. It's located in Ristna. Ristna Sea Store introduces the topic of marine debris in the Baltic Sea. This exhibition includes all items which are found from the coast of Hiiumaa. All these products have came from the polluted Baltic Sea. This is where it's located. We went there with 3 of us. We took pictures and collected some information about marine debris in the Baltic Sea aswell. This is how the museum looks like from the outside. The most common components of marine debris in the Baltic Sea are food waste and packages. 31-43% of marine debris are plastic bottles and even 50-63% of marine debris is plastic. Paradise at the Adriatic Sea I have visited some interesting places around the world. The best place I have ever been to is Dubrovnik, located in the south of the Croatia. This town is very old and has a really interesting history. Nowadays this is one of the most famous resorts in Europe. Climate, of course is hot as the town is located at the Adriatic Sea. It consist of two parts : the old town and the new one. The old town is the primary objective for tourists who visit Dubrovnik. Narrow strelets full of different souvenir shops and restaurants are worth of visiting. The old town isn't the onlt place to visit there. My ideal house I would like to live in a place where there are some mountains with snow on top of them and a sea nearby because i like beaches and mountains. My house would be in the middle of them, so i could see the sea from one side and the mountains from the other side of the house. However there are many factors which shorten the lifetime of concrete (slide) such as: physical attacks, including frost damage, fire, wind and water waves and chemical attacks including sulfates, sea water, acids, alkali-silica reactions and of course corrosion of embedded steel. That's why the durability of concrete needs to be tested. (slide) Firstly, the concrete contains pores and capillaries which fulfill with water. In laboratories several test have been worked out to measure the permeability but in real life we have a similar situations in marine areas. He is commonly known as "the painter of light". Painting: The subject of the painting is the practice of 18th century slave traders who would throw the dead and dying human 'cargo' overboard during the middle passage in the Atlantic Ocean. Turner was inspired by two sources: by the Zong Massacre of slaves and by lines from James Thomson's The Seasons (The Zong Massacre was the name given to the mass-killing of African slaves that took place in 1781 on the Zong). The violent power of the sea and the strange sea creatures represent the forces of nature punishing the guilty. The painting was widely admired for its use of colour and the way in which sea and sky merge around the distant ship. In the lower portion of the painting, hands of enslaved Africans can be seen still shackled(aheldatud). Turner makes a particularly effective contrast between distant and near views in The Slave Ship. The painting is currently on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA.
