Most of the times she's at work (Merlotte's bar and grill) and at nights she's with Bill. At the end Sookie discovers that the murderer is Rene Lenier. He's her friends boyfriend. He tries to kill Sookie too, but she hurts him and gets away. The police gets him and Sookie ends up in a hospital.
