4-kandetross; 5- ankru-kett; 6- ankur. Ankur võib olla ka paadi ahtris parrastele tuginevatele prussidele paigutatud (vt. Joon. 17.15.). Sellisel juhul tuleb jälgida paadi trimmi, püstuvust ja olla ettevaatlik ankru vetteheitmisel. Joon. 17.15. Kuid võib soovitada teist praktilist võtet ankrute kasutamiseks. Ankruid kettidest eraldamata kinnitatakse kõige vööripoolse kraana või poomi runner ankruseekli külge ja ketti järel andes ning runnerit sisse võttes jäetakse ankur rippuma tõstevahendi noole (poomi) otsa. Seejärel antakse ankur samal teel edasi järgmisele ahtripoolsele tõstevahendile, lastes välja ankruketti. Sellisel moel võib ankur olla viidud ahtri piirkonda ja seal põhja lastud. Sellega saavutatakse vööri kergenemine kahe ankru ja mitme ketiseekli kaalu võrra. Arvestades, et seeklijao keti kaal on umbes pool ankru kaalust, võib selline

I've often felt that the layout of game-playing fields produces patterns that overlap with the design of the Hero's Journey. Baseball can be read as another metaphor of life, with the base runner as the hero making his way around the stages of the journey.
