Kontserdi retsensioon “Not In This Lifetime”

Kontserdi retsensioon "Not In This Lifetime" 12. Juunis käisin Veltins Arena, Gelsenkirchen, Saksamaal kuulamas Guns n' Roses kontserdit "Not In This Lifetime". Umber kell 20, ühinesin ma rahvahulgaga habases Veltins Arenas, et kuulata nende esimest laulu `Welcome to the Jungle'.

William Shakespeare, sonett 130

William Shakespeare, sonett 130 Kristiina Stõkova My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun, 10R Coral is far more red, than her lips red, If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun: If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head: I have seen roses damasked, red and white, But no such roses see I in her cheeks, And in some perfumes is there more delight, Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks. I love to hear her speak, yet well I know, That music hath a far more pleasing sound: I grant I never saw a goddes go, My mistress when she walks treads on the ground. And yet by heaven I think my love as rare, As any she belid with false compare. ***** Mu armsa silmad pole päiksest loodud, (11) korallgi punasem, kui värv huultes. Oscar Wilde “The Nightingale and the Rose”

Wilde was sentenced two years in prison that was unkind to his health, after he was released in 1897 he spent his last three years penniless. I read a Oscar Wilde`s fairy tale, it was a bit different of usual fairy tales because it didn't end happily. There was a Student, who loved one girl. This girl was a daughter of the Professor. She had said that she will dance with the Student if he would bring her a red rose. But the problem was that there weren't any red roses growing in his garden and he wept, his face buried in his hands. He was very sad because he can't dance with his love. Fortunately a small bird named Nightingale saw him crying, the bird really wanted to help him, she knew that she had found this true lover of whom she had sung night after night. Nightingale wanted to find him the reddest rose in the world, she wanted to help the real true lover. She flew over the

There were so many anemones and they were so pretty . However , she went to look for other flowers . On the verge of the forest she saw one blue spot . Hepaticas were in blossom . The girl picked many of them and now the basket was full . She started to walk back home , now she knew the road . She had walked only a few metres when she saw a rose bush . She had never seen so powerful and so spectacular rose bush before . The roses were white and were shining like waterdrops . She was very suprised and she wanted to take one bloom . The girl reached her hand out to take herself one beautiful bloom. She thought that she had to pick them gently and so she did . She took one rose tenderly with her thin hands and she felt that the rose bush welcomed her warmly . She hopped happily from one foot and to an other , held her basket in one hand and her wonderful rose in the other .

Indie rock on kitarripõhine muusika, mida viljelevad väikeste muusikafirmade alla kuuluvad bändid. Suurbritannias on alternatiivsele muusikale vihjatud kui ,,indie" mitte ,,alternatiiv". Continuing Katherine Mansfield's short story "Mrs. Brill"

A few seconds later she felt herself smiling. The oak tree and the rosebush had a special meaning for her. Her dear passed away husband George had planted these there with the help of Ann. It had been a gift for Miss Brill’s 30th birthday. “The oak tree symbolizes you, how strong you are and also it shows how strong and big our love for you is,” states the man. “Yes mommy, our love for you reaches even the highest stars!” says the girl happily. “The roses symbolize how beautiful you are, and how fragile and sweet you are from the inside,” explains the man to his wife. He steps closer to his wife and grabs her by her waist. “I love you!” exclaims the man loudly. He caresses her cheek and kisses her passionately. Miss Brill stepped closer to the oak tree and gave it a hug. After that she walked next to the rosebush. She squatted and put her nose between the bush, letting the amazing smell of roses come into her nose.

Keila Joa ajalugu

Keila-Joa castle was built in 19th century by count Alexander von Benckendorff, who was the chief of Russian Secret Police. In 19th century this part of Estonia was under Russian authority. And count Benckendorff was very close to Russian Royal family, because he saved life of Tsar Nikolai 1 in the fire. Count tried to built a castle like himself, rich and majestic. Above the door of castle hung a flag of Benckendorffs. 3 Red roses on blue and gold background with word ,,Persevirance", what means persistance. The castle has its own interesting things inside. For example, there is a vase room for only one vase, which is 2 metres high and weights 42 kilo. It was gifted to count by Nikolai 1. Mrs Benckendorff had her lovely gift from another royal family. A letter to a friend describing a house for rent

not to have it, here, in Estonia? I've found a lovely summerhouse for you! I also remember how much you adored these cute little hills we have in Estonia, so this lovely cottage is also on the foot of one and it's surrounded by a beautiful nature, you like to take photos of, too. It's located in the South-Estonia, near the Võru. This house has a view on a lake, where you can ride a boat and fish. It's surrounded by a little garden, in front of the house there are some beautiful roses growing. There is also a back yard suitable for barbecue partyes I know how much you like to cook with Markus, so it's a big pro. From the outside the cottage looks very pretty. It's finished with blue pine and is painted to light-green. It has also a marvelous thatched roof and it really reminds me one of these little elf houses from fairytales. Interior of the house is fully-furnished, it's is very spacious, but still comfortable and cozy

Retsensioon - Slash 19.02.2013

Kontserdi retsensioon 19.02.2013 käisin Helsingi Hartwall Areenas kuulamas kontserti, kus esines koosseis nimega Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators.

There were many parties and balls where women did go with their husbands, escorts or wooers. Also these were places, where many available young women and men met with each other. Parties where plentiful and lavish, there were lot of gossip and scheming also. For upper class, every day was bed and roses: handling their hobbies, picnics with friends, dinners with family and friend or doing whatever they liked. Women did not have to think about where to get money, because they had everything, they lived with their heritages or husbands or fathers money.

"Well, he owns a large amount of land, where he creates life-forms like plants and so!" "So your father is a god?" "I guess so, in some examples!" "And you are a goddess?" "Shatelie, actually!" of study , and not God, as the Church had taught during the medieval period. Based on that, they began to investigate fields such as astronomy, anatomy, science and many others which had never been given much attention. English Renaissance Like most of northern Europe, England saw little of these developments until more than a century later. The beginning of the English Renaissance is often taken, as a convenience, to be 1485, when the Battle of Bosworth Field ended the Wars of the Roses and inaugurated the Tudor Dynasty. Renaissance style and ideas, however, were slow in invading England, and the Elizabethan era in the second half of the 16th century is usually regarded as the height of the English Renaissance. If you're looking for what is sometimes referred to as the English Renaissance then it would cover the reigns of both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, with Edward VI and Mary I coming in between; although the more famous elements came during the Elizabethan period (1558 -

The Little Prince

Eventually, the little prince finds a rose garden, which surprises and depresses him--his rose had told him that she was the only one of her kind. The prince befriends a fox, who teaches him that the important things in life are visible only to the heart, that his time away from the rose makes the rose more special to him, and that love makes a person responsible for the beings that one loves. The little prince realizes that, even though there are many roses, his love for his rose makes her unique and that he is therefore responsible for her. Despite this revelation, he still feels very lonely because he is so far away from his rose. The prince ends his story by describing his encounters with two men, a railway switchman and a salesclerk. It is now the narrator's eighth day in the desert, and at the prince's suggestion, they set off to find a well.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Tallinna kontserti (30.07.12) retsensioon

Praegused liikmed on Anthony Kiedis (vokalist), Josh Klinghoffer (Kitarr, taustavokaal), Michae...

The Hundred Years War between England and France and the Black Death had a great negative influence on Britain. Over 1/3 of the population died. During the fifteenth century the throne of England was claimed by two rival groups - the House of York and the House of Lancaster. As the symbol of the House of York was a white rose and the symbol of the House of Lancaster was a red rose, the war between the groups was called the War of the Roses. It lasted from 1455 to 1485 and ended with the establishment of the powerful Tudor monarchy. Civil War broke out in 1642 and it lasted until1649. It ended with complete victory for the parliamentary forces. The king was captured and executed after a trial for crimes against his people. The leader of the parliamentary army, Oliver Cromwell, became "Lord Protector" of the republic. The monarchy was restored in 1660, after the death of Cromwell. In the 18th

The War of The Roses ended when Henry VII united the two rival houses, giving origin to the Tudor dynasty. The state began to take its present shape with the Acts of Union in 1707, which united the crowns and Parliaments of England and Scotland to create the Kingdom of Great Britain. A further Act of Union joined the Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of Ireland to create the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. In the
