The old and the young should live under the same roof

The old and the young should live under the same roof Living under the same roof with different generations have positive and negative sides. Many people just can not take it to live with their grandparents, the other can. Should the old and the young livr under the same roof? Firstly, the positive sides are that the old ones do all the work that you do not want to do. They clean and cook. In the mornings you can eat homemade warm pancakes with jam. They do all things you want, they even give money to you. Secondly, there are some negative sides too. You do not have so much private space. Grandparents are so worried about you, the want to know that you are fine. They are sometimes so snoopy and annoying. I think that living with the old have some pros and cons

My ideal home

My ideal home My homeland is so important to me, that if I could choose any place in the world to live in, I'd still choose Estonia. My perfect home can only be in here, where my family and friends are. In Estonia, where are swmaps and pine-wood, sandy beaches, blue sky and big fileds, where are people who i know and the place where i feel in home My perfect home is located outside of Tallinn, in the midst of nature. It is a two story house with a red roof and the house is surrounded by big white fence. Stepping into the garden, you can notice a cobblestoned road, which takes you to the door. Beside the road are planted little red flowers and the garden is covered with green grass. From afar you can see a sauna house, and it has also a red roof. There you can enjoy the sauna and after that you can sit in the soft sofa, relax and chat with friends in anteroom. Beside the saunahouse there is a grilling place, where you can

Essay You can never have too much money

It is obvious that it changes how people look, but what is more important, is that wanting more and more money changes people’s values. There is nothing wrong with wanting a little bigger salary, more money from parents and so on, but you must remember that you can not be greedy and selfish. Perhaps people should pay more attention on things that do not cost, for example friendship. Money usually brings people happiness since you have the ability to buy food on your table and a roof above your head, however it takes time and energy to earn it. You may get tired, stressed and eventually it might cause other problems. Therefore I think that when you have money and you know how to use it the right way, then you can never have too much of it. Of course I am nobody to tell someone how to live their life, but in my opinion everybody should balance their attention and priorities between financial goals and friends, family etc.

The tower was named Roosikrantsi, but as it was the stoutest tower in the Wall, people started to call it "Fat Margaret". Through history, the cannon tower has also served as a storehouse for gunpowder and weapons, and as a prison. The Fat Margaret's Tower houses the Estonian Maritime Museum, with a permanent exhibit on Estonian maritime and fishing history. The viewing platform on the roof affords a lovely view onto the Old Town and the bay. I hope you will enjoy the visit. The Great Fire kokkuvõte

His maid failed to put out the ovens at the end of the night. Once it started, the fire spread quickly. The city was basically made out of wood and with September following on from the summer, the city was very dry. Strong winds fanned the flames. In 1665, during the plague, the king, Charles II, had fled in London. His plan, in 1666 (he stayed in London and took charge of the operation to save the city) was to create fire-breaks. The heat created by the fire was so great that the lead roof on the old St Paul's Cathedral melted. The actual human casualty rate was remarkably small with possibly only 5 people dying in this fire. The wind that had helped the fire spread, turned on itself and drove the flames back into what had already been burned. Therefore, the fire had nothing to ignite and the fire died out. The Great Fire had burned down 84 churches and the old St Paul's. However, it had also destroyed the filthy streets associated the Great Plague

"Why that?" Suzan asked her, yet the twin only smiled. They were similar, but thought very differently especially Creasha, who considered herself a mighty bounty hunter as well, just as Denis was is the eyes of the society. "Let's check that noise out," said Creasha and jumped from the open window to the slippery rooftop. "Are you crazy? You'll get killed there!" "Come and help me then!" "You idiot!" But Creasha only smiled as an answer. Soon the both girls were climbing on the roof. "Wait," said Creasha, the oldest. "What is it?" "What do you mean, can't you hear that?" "Hear what?" "This...I don't know how to describe it,,, It's like a clock's ticking or something!" "Maybe it's a bomb?" asked Suzan with an irony in her voice, her imagination was very rich. Creasha went really pale and shook her sister. "A bomb? You really think so?" "It could be. Mom and dad are clever politician they have plenty of enemies, just as Danny has!" "Damn it! You're right!"

Joseph Cahill launched a design competition on 13 September 1955 and recieved 233 entries. The rewiev of Twilight

through out the book. Even by the end of the book I was still thirsting for more of the Cullen family back story - hopefully their characters might be developed further in future books. Bella herself is a well written and realistic character, shy and lacking in confidence, her sarcastic inner voice narrates the story for the reader. Twilight is simply and yet beautifully written. The descriptions of Forks leave you feeling like you can almost smell the damp air and hear the rain falling on the roof. The romance between Edward and Bella is both touching and compelling. There is a melancholic feel to their impossible love, yet at the same time they both are unwilling to give up hope that their relationship is not doomed. The book reaches a fever pitch of excitement as the romance between Bella and Edward turns into a frantic race to stay alive. I have heard Twilight described as "a vampire story for people who don't like vampire stories" and I think I would agree with that

organized by The Estonian Wildlife Protection Society in 1967-1968 where the ornamental Blue Cornflower was the favourite because of its popularity and decorative appearance, because of this Blue Cornflower was selected as the National Flower of Estonia. National bird The barn swallow, the national bird, is a characteristic guest of Estonian homes. Its call can be heard from practically every eave or barn rafter in the country. If the bird finds a suitable opening, under the ridge of a roof or a broken window, it will build its cup-shaped nest; it will even build it inside a house. The choice of the barn swallow as a national bird was mainly the result of a campaign conducted by ornithologists at the beginning of the sixties. The Barn Swallow has been the national bird of Estonia since 23 June 1960. National stone Estonian national stone is the country's valuable grey limestone. Waldspirale in German

German), which is situated in Darmstadt, Germany, Frankfurterstrasse street. This city with a population of 141 thousand citizens is known to be a «city of science», so there is no surprise that such an eccentric and creative house was built there in 2000. Many of us reading fairytales have dreamt about living in magic houses and this twelve-storey building twisted in a shell is a dream come true. This eye-catching house, built without any rectangular forms, has a green roof with a garden, for what it was actually called a Forest spiral. There are 105 apartments, garage (), grocery store and a café inside the house as well as the patio () with an artificial pond and playground for kids. But why this house really stands out is that windows in it are situated unusually, going not in one line, but chaotically set in a façade. There are more than 1000 of them and no two are the same. The author of this creation, famous Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser,

A letter to a friend describing a house for rent

It's located in the South-Estonia, near the Võru. This house has a view on a lake, where you can ride a boat and fish. It's surrounded by a little garden, in front of the house there are some beautiful roses growing. There is also a back yard suitable for barbecue partyes I know how much you like to cook with Markus, so it's a big pro. From the outside the cottage looks very pretty. It's finished with blue pine and is painted to light-green. It has also a marvelous thatched roof and it really reminds me one of these little elf houses from fairytales. Interior of the house is fully-furnished, it's is very spacious, but still comfortable and cozy. On the ground floor there is a living room decorated with unique lighting fixtures and beautiful wall ornaments. There's also a fireplace. Two bedrooms with a view over the lake are situated on the first floor. There is a sauna with bubble tube on this floor, too.

England - Art and Culture

There are even specific projects that are designed to engender such creativity amongst the local population. Examples of this type of initiative are the Tate Liverpool and the Tate Modern in London. But museums and galleries are not the only homes of art. Sculptures and art festivals also testify to the creative genius of England. Sculptures range from ancient figures of historical import to life- size bronze carvings of human beings (such as exist on the roof of De la Warr Pavilion in Bexhill or the Another Place exhibition on Crosby Beach, Liverpool). One of the largest art festivals is held in Birmingham and is called Artsfest. The artistic talents being showcased range from classical music and song to traditional dancing and stand-up comedy. This festival is usually held in September. Theatre is another very important part of the English culture and is, in fact, one of the reasons people visit the country. Theatrical shows, such as Cats,

Giza Pyramid

The sarcophagus of the King's Chamber was hollowed out of a single piece of Red Aswan granite and has been found to be too large to fit through the passageway leading to the chamber. Whether the sarcophagus was ever intended to house a body is unknown, and no lid has ever been found. The King's Chamber is lined with red granite brought from Aswan. The kings chamber and the first 4 relieving chambers have roofs made out of granite. Each roof includes 8 or 9 granite slabs weighing 25 to 80 tonnes each. Egyptologists believe they were transported on ferries down the Nile river. Queen's Chamber The Queen's Chamber is the middle and the smallest. The Queen's chamber is inappropriately named as it was never intended for one his queens, they had their very own pyramids built for them. The name is thought to have come from early Arab explorers who recognised the familiar gabled ceilings that are common to female burial chambers
