Review: 8 Mile
girlfriend when she tells him she's pregnant; to save money to make a demo tape, he moves into his
alcoholic mom's (Kim Basinger) trailer; his job's a dead end, and he's just choked at the local head-
to-head rap contest. Things improve when he meets Alex (Brittany Murphy) - an aspiring model
headed for New York - and a fast-talking pal Wink (Eugene Byrd) promises to set up the demo.

I liked the film because it's action was like talking about me. I walk the same tracks what the main
character did. Also, if I watch this film, then I look back to my life and look for the meaning of life.
I liked the soundtrack too, because it includes some of my favourite songs like "Lose Yourself".
