The Earth's climate has been changing constantly over its history. Once, all climate change occurred naturally, but recently, people have also started altering the climate. We are sending more and more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The average global temperature has increased by about 0.5 °C over the past century. Scientist expect it to increase up to an additional 3 °C over the next on 100 years. People who are living in cold places may have a chance to grow new crops if the climate gets warmer. At the same time in some parts of the world, people won't be able to grow the food they need. Global warming will make the sea level higher because it'll make the glaciers melt. When water expands in the ocean, it takes up more space and the level of the seas rise. If global warming gets worse, some kinds of plants and animals will become extinct. So as a result we have to slow down the global warming.

Certainly it will take time to get used to new things, but as for me, I believe that most of the disadvantages of e-books will be overcome and step by step they will replace the conventional books. And maybe people of my generation will retell their grandchildren unbelievable stories about reading paper books instead of digital versions.

who had witnessed a real robbery. Findings have shown that misleading questions did not seem to distort people's memory. Instead, they have shown that the memory details in real life situations are quite amazing. Those who were most distressed by the situation had the most accurate memories. Frederic Bartlett has also conducted an experiment using serial reproduction, where people had to remember a story and then retell it. The next person who heard it had to retell it to someone else and so on until up to 7 people. When people were retelling he noticed how each participant's memory of the story changed. Some characteristics were that the story became shorter; it remained coherent and became more conventional. According to Bartlett, people reconstruct the past by trying to fit it into existing schemas. This can be explained as people's efforts after meaning. Bartlett
English literature is one of the oldest literatures in Europe; dates back to the 6th century AD. Oral literature, i.e. not written down, spread from person to person. In 449 AD Anglo-‐Saxon tribes invaded England – beginning of the Anglo-‐Saxon period in English literature. The first form of literature was folklore, carried by scops and gleemen, who sang in alliterative verse (a kind of simple poetry). Prose developed much later. The first form of recorded English literature was the epic Beowulf, which was produced sometime near the end of the 7th and beginning of the 8th century. It has no ...

ance by the Lakota. CAMPFIRE SCENES M a n y stories seem to have campfire-type scenes in this region, where the hero and companions gather around a fire or its equivalent to review the recent events. It's also an opportunity for jokes and boasting. There is understandable relief at having survived death. Hunters and fishermen, pilots and navigators, soldiers and explorers all like to exaggerate their accomplishments. At the barbecue in Dances with Wolves, Dunbar is forced to retell the story of the buffalo hunt many times. There may be conflict over the campfire, fighting over spoils. Dunbar gets into an argument over his hat, which has been picked up by a Sioux warrior after Dunbar dropped it during the buffalo hunt. A campfire scene may also be a chance for reminiscence or nostalgia. Having crossed the abyss of life and death, nothing will ever be the same. Heroes sometimes turn back and remember aloud what got them to this point. A loner hero might
