"Kidnapped"

Mr Campbell told David that his father has given him a letter before he died. It was his
inheritance. David´s father wanted him to go to the House of Shaws, near Edinburgh. David was
surprised, because he didn´t know anything about the House of Shaws. Mr Campbell said goodbye
and David started to go to the House of Shaws.
On the morning of the second day, David came to the top of a hill. Below him, he saw the city of
Edinburgh.He saw a group of English soldiers The Redcoats marching along the road.
When David was closer to Edinburgh, he asked for directions to the House of Shaws. Everyone
seemed surprised when he asked about this house. He thought that there was something strange
about the House of Shaws. He began to worry.
He walked on. Soon, he saw a large house. It was the House of Shaws. The house was very old
and in bad condition. There was no gate or entrance. It looked empty.
It was dark when he arrived at the house and there were no lights on
