Fast 2 Furious

This movie finds Brian kicked off by the police force when streetracing in Miami. He gets busted and the FBI cuts a deal whereby his record will be cleaned if he goes undercover to help them get a dirty information. The allure of these movies isn't the plot though. It's the cars and the racing. In my opinion, this movie is a bit better than the first. The movie has an entirely different feel from the first. The races are a little longer as they're not just doing quarter mile drag races and there are also some massive chase sequences that tear up a lot of cars. We were pleased to see lots of different types of performance cars getting representation this time.

people because of the nightlife, universities with good reputation and big shopping streets. For older people the main attraction is in theatres, great museums and parks. In the past few years, the number of immigrants has grown rapidly because of the widening of the European Union. It is now easier for people to travel inside the EU. Londoners are well known for their politeness but not all of them deserve this kind of fame. There are many people living in London who do not accept other races and religions. They do not like foreigners visiting London as tourists nor living there. Racism is most common among young people or in areas where many coloured people live. The most common act of racism is calling names. There are very many coloured people in London and it is offensive to call them "nigga", "negro" or "Japs". But calling names isn't the worst act of racism. Many immigrants get beaten up or bullied because of their religion or ethnic origin. Some get killed and commit suicide

Rallying

Rallying Tarmo Torn The term "rally", as a branch of motorsport, probably dates from the first Monte Carlo Rally of January 1911. The first of these great races was the ParisBordeauxParis race of June 1895, won by Paul Koechlin in a Peugeot, despiting arriving 11 hours after Émile Levassor in a Panhard et Levassor. There are two main forms: stage rallies and road rallies. Since the 1960s, stage rallies have been the professional branch of the sport. Drivers Most of the works drivers of the 1950s were amateurs, paid little or nothing, reimbursed their expenses and given bonuses for winning.

Grand torino

It was directed and produced by Clint Eastwood, who also starred in it. The film tells a story about an old widowed former Ford factory worker Kowalski, who has a troubled relationship with his family members and who is angry at the world. It is quite interesting that Clint Eastwood wanted to star in a movie where he plays a racist character. He also said that it was his last film as an actor. The main issue in this film is gang violence on the streets involving different cultures and races. Grand Torino is not a typical American film at all; it even reminds me of a 1992 Australian film Romper Stomper which talks about the same problem- intolerance. The film also shows that if only people from different cultures want to live together in a friendly atmosphere and in harmony, they can achieve this but it may take time and willingness to understand others. I think this film is meant to be shown to persons who have a strong nervous system and

Tolerance and diversity (essee)

Thirdly, the situation with religions is a diverse. It is a fact that Estonia is the most atheist country in the world. The biggest religious minorities are lutherans, Russian Orthodox. Some people have faith is very important. It is believed that God is the one who forgives them for their sinful. But in our country are not forced religion against, we have freedom of religion. Finally, In my opinion, it is a problem to some extent in every country of tolerance between different races. In particular, a large grudge against the Russians, Estonians, just because of our past.

He was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement and fought for the rights and social equality for people of all races using non-violent methods. These methods included giving his famous speech in which he spoke about racial discrimination and asked for equality and acceptance among all races. This speech accomplished many things, but most importantly it made people become conscious of the fact that racism was an issue that needed to be solved and it changed how people treated each other. Racism A race is a group of people that come from a common background. That group is generally determined based on skin color. Commonly, but not always, people are categorized into one of five races: White, Black, Latino or Hispanic, Asian, and Indigenous or Native. Racism then, is the discrimination or prejudice of a person or group based on the racial group she or they belong to. It's not that simple, however. The term racism is actually used in many ways. Some refer to racism as white supremacism, the belief that the Caucasian race is superior to all other races. Others define racism as discrimination against a particular race's culture, beliefs or traditions. Racism might refer to

Equality

Equality Equality is a very important subject in todays world. Even though people of all races, social statuses and of both sexes have more equal rights in just about everything today, than they have had throughout history, there are still many places in the world and lots of topics, where equality is still a big problem. The point of equality, is for everyone to have the same opportunities. In a society with perfect equality, everyone would be able to do what they want, no matter where they are from, how wealthy their parents are, what color their skin is and so on

Riots 2) Racism is a common problem in many countries and in Englad it is present because there are many immigrants from all over the world. As it is a widespread social problem it's also one of the worst ones, because the hatred directed to different races or even nationalities makes the foreign people feel bad and also to hate the locals. This brings up many conflicts like the bombings in 2005 (when 4 islamic suicide bombers killed thmeselves and 52 civilians), but usually the conflicts are smaller, like brawls between different ethnic groups or mockery and insults. 3)In 1999 was the biggest racism related crime in the last 3 decades, when a Neo-Nazi David Copeland placed homemade nailbombs at public places

Ella Fitzgerald´i eluloo kokkuvõte

Her first dream was to be a dancer. Then, one fateful night at the Apollo Theater in 1934, the headlining Edwards Sisters brought down the house with their dancing. Amateur Hour began immediately after, and a 16yearold Ella Fitzgerald stepped on stage, but was too intimidated to dance. Instead, she sang "Judy," silenced the awestruck crowd, and won first prize. It was the beginning of one of the most celebrated careers in music history. Born in Newport News, Virginia in 1917, Ella Fitzgerald moved with her mother to New York after the death of her father. Living in Yonkers, Fitzgerald attended public school, where she sang in the glee club and received her musical education. After her early success at the Apollo, and as a popular performer at a number of other amateur venues, Fitzgerald was invited to join Chick Webb's band. Within a short while she was the star attraction, and had made a number hits including her trademark "Ati...

Land iguanas are lighter in color, tan to dark brown, and have shorter scales on the backbone. Land iguanas are inland, lesser in number, and feed on cactus . There are 11 remaining races of the Galapagos Giant Tortoises. They eat grasse, cacti, and other vegetation. They can go for more than a year without drinking or eating. The United States of America

Proclaiming that "all men are created equal" and endowed with "certain unalienable Rights," the Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, drafted largely by Thomas Jefferson, on July 4, 1776. This meant war. Britain lost the war and lost America. It recognized the United States as a separate country in 1783. The population of the USA is about 270 million people. They are called Americans. Most of the people live in towns. In America there are the representatives of all the races and national groups of the world. There are about 24 million Negroes in the country and over 800,000 Indians. Many of the inhabitants come from Mexico and other South American countries. The United States is a federal union of fifty states. The original thirteen states were the successors of the thirteen colonies that rebelled against British rule. In Estonia, we don't celebrate Shrove Tuesday(Pancake Day). Shrove Tuesday is the last day before Lent, a Christian fast which lasts for 40 days before Easter. In the past, Christians used up all their milk, butter and eggs on Shrove Tuesday because they were not allowed to eat them during Lent. Pancake races are often arranged for women in which competitors carry a pancake in a frying pan and have to toss the pancake into the air, catching it again in the pan. Very thin, flat, round pancakes are usually eaten with lemon juice and sugar. 5. What is a Cockney? has a variety of natural resources to provide the raw materials that support the economy. The most valuable resources are soils, water, fish and forests. Forests cover nearly a third of the United States and they yield many valuable products. Population The population of the U.S.A. is about 320 million people. They are called Americans. Most of the people live in towns, the population of the countryside is becoming smaller and smaller. In America there are representatives of all the races and national groups of the world. There are about 24 million Negroes in the country and over 800 000 Indians. Many of the inhabitants come from Mexico and other South American countries. The life of these people is very hard because of the racial discrimination. Besides coloured people, there are also representatives of all the peoples of Europe and Asia. Some of these have great difficulties, because they can only speak the language of their nation, but the

Clear image enables one to move about easily and quickly. An ordered environment can do more than this; it may serve as a broad frame of reference, an organizer of activity or belief of knowledge. A vivid and integrated physical setting, capable of producing a sharp image, plays a social role as well. Can- furnish the raw material for symbols and collective memories of group communication. A striking landscape is the skeleton upon which many primitive races erect their socially important myths. A good environmental image gives its possessor an important sense of emotional security. Harmonious relationship between himself and the outside world. Obverse of the fear that comes with disorientation; sweet sense of home is the strongest when home is familiar and distinctive. mousy, overly cautious, and physically unimpressive doctors who precede him; and Bonello's ruthlessness is prompted by the disloyal behavior of the soldier whom he kills. Games and Divertissement - Henry and Catherine begin flirting with each other in order to forget personal troubles. Flirting, which Henry compares to bridge, allows Henry to "drop the war" and diverts Catherine's thoughts from the death of her fiancé. Likewise, the horse races that Catherine and Henry attend enable them to block out thinking of Henry's return to the front and of their imminent separation. Ironically, Henry and Catherine's relationship becomes the source of suffering from which Henry needs diversion. Henry cannot stand to be away from Catherine, and while playing pool with Count Greffi takes his mind off of her, the best divertissement turns out to be the war itself. When Catherine instructs him not

Nali: The World According to Student Bloopers

One myth says that the mother of Achilles dipped him in the River Stynx until he became intolerable. Achilles appears in "The Illiad", by Homer. Homer also wrote the "Oddity", in which Penelope was the last hardship that Ulysses endured on his journey. Actually, Homer was not written by Homer but by another man of that name. Socrates was a famous Greek teacher who went around giving people advice. They killed him. Socrates died from an overdose of wedlock. In the Olympic Games, Greeks ran races, jumped, hurled the biscuits, and threw the java. The reward to the victor was a coral wreath. The government of Athen was democratic because the people took the law into their own hands. There were no wars in Greece, as the mountains were so high that they couldn't climb over to see what their neighbors were doing. When they fought the Parisians, the Greeks were outnumbered because the Persians had more men. Eventually, the Ramons conquered the Geeks

The pilgrims were poorly trained and poorly equipped to cope with life in the wilderness. One spring morning in 1621, an Indian came into the little village of Plymouth and introduced himself in friendly way. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to hunt, fish, and grow food. Because of this help from Indians, the pilgrims had a good harvest that year. Governor William Bradford invited the Indians to a feast. It lasted three days. They ate, danced, sang, ran races, whistled. This was called thanksgiving day. On October 3, 1863 Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national thanksgiving. Many of the traditions of the modern American thanksgiving come from that first thanksgiving celebration more than 300 years ago. People eat squash, corn, turkey, Indian pudding and pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is a four-day holiday. Schools are closed on thanksgiving, and grownups don't work. People spend the holiday among family. 5) MICHAEL FARADAY

While the vast majority of crimes occur in impoverished areas, the violence is not confined. The primary criminal concern of a tourist is being a victim of theft. In several cases, armed robberies of Americans have turned violent when the victims resisted handing over valuables. Crime is exacerbated by the fact that police are understaffed and ineffective. It is also presumed that such competitions pleased the spirits of the dead and were organized as part of funeral ceremonies for important people. Later games became part of religious festivals of honouring the gods but mostly they honoured the king of the gods Zeus. The ancient stadium in Olympia could accommodate more than 40,000 spectators. The only event in the first 13 games was the stadion which is a running-race of 192 metres. As the years passed, longer running races and other types of competition became a part of the games wrestling, the pentathlon, boxing and chariot-racing. The pentathlon was a combination of long jump, running, discus, and javelin throwing and wrestling. The games were so important that truce was called out between the fighting city-states. Olympic winners were greatly honoured. They were given olive wreaths as prizes and were treated like true heroes. 3. The modern Olympic Games

The Cataclysmic Death of Stars

" In the stars that launch gamma-ray bursts, the spinning black hole and the disk may pump out enough energy to blow the star apart. But in most collapsing stars, the collapse ends when the Earth-size core crunches into a neutron star the size of a city, at a temperature of a hundred billion degrees (55 billion degrees Celsius). This is the point of maximum scrunch. The squeezed core rebounds like a squished sponge, launching a shock wave that races outward, ramming into the material that is still pouring down from the star's outer layers. Astronomers once thought this shock would be enough to tear the star apart and generate the explosion, says Adam Burrows of the University of Arizona. Turns out it's not so simple. Simulating a supernova gobbles enormous amounts of computer power, and even the largest supercomputers can't fully reproduce an exploding star in three dimensions. But over the years
