Periodically, she would send threatening mail to breeders non-IRCA Ragdolls, including a mailshot that contained photos of dozens of dead cats laid out side-by-side along with a claim that someone had broken in and killed her cats (some believe Baker killed her own cats and might not have known what she was doing due to a claimed history of head trauma).

Phoenix also overcame the loss of big man Amare Stoudemire, ejected in the second quarter after his second technical. O'Neal had 13 rebounds and three blocks, and his fourth-quarter dunk moved him past Oscar Robertson on the career scoring list with 26,711 points. Estonia topic

Until recent years the Estonian economy continued to grow with admirable rates. Estonian GDP grew by 6.4% in the year 2000 and with double speeds after accession to the EU in 2004. The GDP grew by 7.9% in 2007 alone. Increases in labor costs, rise of taxation on tobacco, alcohol, electricity, fuel, and gas, and also external pressures (growing prices of oil and food on the global market) are expected to raise inflation just above the 10% mark in the first months of 2009. In the first quarter 2008 GDP grew only 0,1%. The government made a supplementary negative budget, which was passed by Riigikogu. The revenue of the budget was decreased for 2008 by EEK 6.1 billion and the expenditure by EEK 3.2 billion. 1 Estonia joined the World Trade Organization in 1999. A sizable current account deficits remains, but started to shrink in the last months of 2008 and is expected to do so in the near future

Fast 2 Furious

This movie finds Brian kicked off by the police force when streetracing in Miami. He gets busted and the FBI cuts a deal whereby his record will be cleaned if he goes undercover to help them get a dirty information. The allure of these movies isn't the plot though. It's the cars and the racing. In my opinion, this movie is a bit better than the first. The movie has an entirely different feel from the first. The races are a little longer as they're not just doing quarter mile drag races and there are also some massive chase sequences that tear up a lot of cars. We were pleased to see lots of different types of performance cars getting representation this time.

Mobile phones and their use

Most of the phones cost more than 100 euros. However, three owners got their phones for free. The average cost of a cell phone is 195 euros. Eight out of thirteen students bought their phone themselves. Furthermore, five students acquired their phones as presents. The most popular phone feature used is calling. Also, nearly three out of four students use their phones to browse the Internet, and almost a half of students use their phones to send text messages. A little over a quarter of students like to play games on their mobile phones, and one fourth enjoy using their devices to listen to music. Even though every mobile phone has a camera, not many students use their phones to take pictures. Based on the findings above, it is clear that the main uses of mobile phones are communication and internet use. Because of many recent technological advances, many people can nowadays do many different things on their mobile phones simply by clicking on a touch screen.

About Peter I House Museum

The building was restored at the order of Emperor Alexander I after he visited Tallinn in 1804. The wing, however, was not. The kitchen was reconstructed and a dining room was built above it on the first floor that had not existed before. Since then the building has been maintained all the time and today it is the only example of a 17th-century summer-cottage in Estonian architecture and a valuable relic. The building became a popular sight among the people of Tallinn in the last quarter of the 19th century when the watchman of the house used to entertain the visitors with "true-life stories". The Tallinn City Museum got the building in 1941. Peter I House was hardly changed until 2004 when it was thoroughly renovated. The museum with a renewed display is now open also in wintertime.

them have their midday meal at school. Worryingly, as few as four students have both breakfast and school lunch. Still more disturbing is the fact that an alarming proportion--approximately onethird--of the students have neither. Eating brown bread Interestingly enough, bread, a good source of fiber, enjoys popularity among young people. 75 per cent of the students surveyed eat three or more slices of brown bread per day, with only a quarter of respondents restricting themselves to one or two slices. Eating fat As regards fat consumption, the majority of the students eat margarine. Four students prefer butter, and another four eat neither. Conclusion It is noticeable that the eating habits of students in their final year at Freedonian Secondary School are not very healthy. Moreover, there are no students who have both breakfast and school lunch, eat more than four slices of brown bread per day, and avoid fat.

A similarly wide range is also found in freshwater, with the most important species from a production point of view belonging to the carp family. These account for over half the total of inland waters fisheries production. Marine capture fisheries resources are usually considered close to full exploitation worldwide with about half of them fully exploited, one quarter over exploited, depleted or recovering from depletion and one quarter only with some capacity to produce more than they presently do. The overall situation of inland capture fisheries resources is not as well known but is likely to be as serious or worse, considering the much larger environmental impact they are subject to. Singing revolution

Singing revolution is known as a revolution without blood. Its aim for Estonia was to separate from the Soviet Union. The Singing Revolution lasted over four years, with various protests and acts of defiance. Independence was declared on the late evening of August 20 in 1991. Soon, on 11 September 1988, a massive song festival, called "Song of Estonia", was held at the Tallinn Song Festival Ground. This time about 300,000 people came together, which was more than a quarter of all Estonians. Estonians sang national songs and hymns that were strictly forbidden during the years of the Soviet occupation, as Estonian rock musicians played. On that day political leaders were participating actively, and were for the first time insisting on the restoration of independence. Finally, the Soviet Union fell apart in 1991. I would say that this is the most glorious moment in the history of the Republic of

Mardi Gras

The cities most famous for their Mardi Gras celebrations include New Orleans, Louisiana; Venice, Italy; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Many other places have important Mardi Gras celebrations as well. It is a federal holiday in Alabama, Florida and in 8 counties of Lousiana. History In 1829, some young men returned to New Orleans, Louisiana, from a visit to Paris. Carrying on a lively French custom, they dressed in costumes and masks and paraded through the narrow streets of the French Quarter of New Orleans. More people joined and followed them until they caught the attention of the ladies of the town, who leaned over their balconies and threw chocolates and kisses to them. From that time on, masked walking parades became fashionable in New Orleans in the springtime. The festivals became more organized in 1857 when a group of people calling themselves "The Mystick Krewe of Comus" made their way through the streets on floats pulled by horses. One

Passive houses

Technology and I´m standing here in front of you to talk about the ,,passive houses I will inform you about their magnitude and percentage nowadays and also talk about the potential difficulties that might appear when building a passive house". But I´ll start off by giving you an overview of the term. The definition of a passive house is based on its extremely low energy need. Passive houses consume less than a quarter of energy required for a standrard building, as a result reducing its ecological footprint. So it´s a ultralow energy building which requires little energy for space heating or cooling. Sounds appealing right? Sustaining the earth for our future generations and also in the long run benefit from living there with paying lower taxes. However sadly, nowadays there is known to be only up to 20,000 passive houses world-wide out of 1,6 billion households

the southern U.S. The march did, however, make specific demands: an end to racial segregation in public schools; meaningful civil rights legislation, including a law prohibiting racial discrimination in employment; protection of civil rights workers from police brutality; a $2 minimum wage for all workers; and self-government for Washington, D.C., then governed by congressional committee. Despite tensions, the march was a resounding success. More than a quarter of a million people of diverse ethnicities attended the event. King delivered a 17-minute speech, later known as "I Have a Dream". To conclude, I would like to tell, that Martin Luther King was one of activist, who changed the black peoples life for better. He was Christian, so his views based on Christian beliefs and he supported nonviolent movement, moreover, he struggled for the Afro-American civil rights. At the White House

Writting a summary

Writting a summary I read the following sections of the booklet „Europe. A journal for young people“. The booklet is listed in 7 sections:“ Europe in everday life“; „The European Union- what does this mean exactly?“; „How does the European Union work?“; „What exactly does the EU do?“; „Europe moves on_ the enlargement of the European Union“; „Europe and the wider world“ and „The future of Europe“. ‘Europe is somewhere else.’ This provocative statement opens the first chapter of „Europe. A journal for young people“. It is, of course, not true. As EU citizens, Europe is our home. It affects our lives in many areas. For example: money (euro is a common currency); flying has become much cheaper and safer; the police forces in the EU work closely together and European environmental protection lays down common standards. The second sections provides information about what does the European Union exactly means and when did 28 countries come ...

invented from scratch. Glass for the capsules would have to be double-curved and laminated. And transportation of the components would take on a scale reminiscent of pyramid building: delivery would have to be timed to co- ordinate with tides in the River Thames, so that large parts could be safely negotiated under London's bridges. Clearance under Southwark Bridge would be as little as 40 centimetres. One of the world's tallest floating cranes would be needed to lift the massive quarter sections of the rim onto eight temporary platforms floating on the river. Each of the 32 passenger capsules would have to be designed to be just within the maximum width allowed on the French roads over which they would make their way to the English Channel and up the Thames. And it would all happen in just 16 months... Today, the British Airways London Eye has become, quite literally, the way the world sees London. It is one of the most spectacular and popular attractions in the world.

Big Ben

5 tons, and was cast in 1858 by George Mears of the Whitechapel Bell foundry. The bell had to be placed in a special wooden frame, turned on its side, and hoisted up the centre of the tower to the belfry. So heavy was Big Ben that the process took over 36 hours to complete. The bell began ringing the hours in July of 1859, but it cracked after only two months of use. Instead a recasting the bell, it was simply given a quarter turn, and a lighter hammer used to strike the hours. The Chimes The first BBC radio broadcast of the Big Ben chimes was on New Year's Eve, 1923. Later, permanent microphones were placed in the tower, and the sound of Big Ben became a familiar one to listeners, assuming great significance during WWII, when the chimes became a symbol of hope and home to BBC World Service listeners around the world.

Tallinn town hall

town hall, constructed of local limestone, existed in its present location already in the mid-13th century. The town hall first mentioned in a real estate record in 1322 had a large meeting room (consistorium) and, considering the times, a huge warehouse (cellarium civitatis). Three walls and seven windows representing Tallinn's oldest secular architecture have come down to our days from that building. In the first quarter of the 14th century the existing building was extended and the basement enlarged. The so-called diele-dornse (front-back room) system was established. In 1346 the King of Denmark handed over his supremacy over Estonia to the Teutonic Order. As a member of the Hanseatic League, Tallinn gained control of trade with the East by the so-called goods yard right. Fast development of trade and economic prosperity led to the need for new utility rooms in the Town Hall and its more dignified appearance.

However, after almost 15 years of above average GDP growth, the Spanish economy began to slow in late 2007 and entered into a recession in the second quarter of 2008. GDP contracted by 3.7% in 2009, ending a 16-year growth trend, and by another 0.1% in 2010, before turning positive in 2011, making Spain the last major economy to emerge from the global recession. The reversal in Spain's economic growth reflected a significant decline in construction amid an oversupply of housing and falling consumer spending, while exports actually have begun to grow. English history

Secondly, heavily in debt to the United States, the United Kingdom was financially exhausted. This left it almost impossible to defend its wider colonies by force. So the vast markets were opened to American companies and to weaken the UK in general. No empire has been larger or more diverse than the British Empire. At its apogee in the 1930s, 42 million Britons governed 500 million foreign subjects. Britannia ruled the waves, and a quarter of the earth's surface was coloured red on the map. Where Britain's writ did not run directly, its influence, sustained by matchless industrial and commercial sinews, was often paramount. Yet no empire (except for the Russian) disappeared more swiftly. Within a generation, this mighty structure sank almost without trace leaving behind a scatter of sea-girt dependencies and a ghost of empire -- the Commonwealth. Equally, it can be claimed that Britain
