Why does Marx elevate proletariat? Do you see Wright doing the same? What do you think why?
On the other hand, a man named Erik Olin
Wright had a different set of mind.
Firstly, Karl Marx thought that proletariat was more powerful than bourgeoisie, because he
believed, that if there would be a revolution one day, then it would be carried out by the proletariat.
In work, Marx saw a form of human self-expression, which the capitalist mode of production did
not allow to develop. He claimed, that the pressure would arise interest in economics and politcs
among the proletariats so they could take over power, fight against the injustices the bourgeoisie
carry out against them and finally free the society from class differentiaton.
Secondly, in my opinion, Erik Olin Wright definitely did not think the same. While reading Wright’s
thougths and understanding a bit more of his point of view, I could almost believe, that Karl Marx
saw the world through his own perfection. Seemed to me, that Wright thought about other parties
