Gays as Parents
and want to get children, but as we all know, children cannot be born without mother and
father and a gay couple has to adopt to get a child. Some think that a child cannot have
mentally healthy childhood if growing up with gay parents.
I think that children who are old enough, should decide themselves if they want gay parents or
not. I do not see a problem if a thirteen year old kid decides that he preferres gay parents to no
parents. But the poblem is that younger children or even babies are usually adopted. They
cannot decide so important thing. And here is the problem, to let gays adopt babies or not?
I do not have a clear opinion in gay parents. I would like to believe that if a same sex couple
has proven that they can raise a kid then they keep their word. I cannot say that it is perfectly
fine to grow up with gay parents, because we really do not know if it has a bad effect on
children
